Fantastic pub that really gets everything right. The food menu is great, I highly recommend the wings and the Korean Chicken, generous portions, and the service is friendly, quick, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere is great. The pool table is a big plus and was great fun, and the sports TVs are well placed so we didn't miss a goal. Overall, a top spot for good food, good drinks, and a relaxed, lively vibe. Highly recommended.

We booked a table during the busy Xmas market, we corresponded in advance via email and did a deposit. On the day the pub was extremely busy, but the staff were brilliant, really looked after us, checking when we wanted the food at the table, we wanted drinks first, then food in half an hour. They delivered, the food was good, plentiful and everyone enjoyed it. They checked up on us after one of our party fell over, did they need anything, could they help etc provide an ice pack etc. So would happily recommend, it was a great experience all round.

We had our Badminton Christmas dinner at the Westgate and it was amazing. I planned the event and the staff were incredibly helpful over emails and on the phone. Lee, the manager talked me through everything when we arrived which was very comforting for me, he also introduced me to the staff which was lovely too. The staff were incredible, they were attentive, we never felt like we were waiting around for them to appear, so quick with drinks and food and being able to align last minute orders from the app or bar with the pre-orders made the night so great and I was very impressed. We had Nathan and Abby, as well as some help from Lauren and they couldn't have done a better job! We are so thrilled and I will definitely be passing on a good word to whomever takes on badminton social sec next year!

Very lovely service from Sam, made great recommendations for drink choices when we were unsure. Told us about the new pool table that we went and tried out and had lots of fun on! Definitely will be coming back

We had Sunday roast with chicken and beef and they were both good. Be aware that they run out of Sunday roast pretty early in the day, at 15 when we were there they had only one beef left and we had to order chicken too

A weekend away in Bristol and Bath and with retail therapy complete we were seeking pubs for mulled wine! The pub was like a tardis, small entrance but inside it was huge with an upstairs as well. It was very busy with lots of food being delivered none of which looked particularly appealing. We didn't partake.....the mulled wine was expensive but we found two leather seats and enjoyed the people watching. Staff very good. Not particularly our type of pub.....

All food was delicious. The fair price. Family and pleasant atmosphere. Excellent service! But the IPA beer is amazing. I loved the experience.

A really lovely pub, kind of like an 'up market' Weatherspoon's. We had the roast here on Sunday and breakfast on the Monday. With both visits we had great service and the food was excellent. Prices are good too, expected to pay more.

Great local pub in the heart of Bath. It can be easily missed because of the narrow streets. If you are wanting to grab a bite to eat whilst shopping, going out for a meal or just catch up with friends this place can cater for all. I went here during the football and it was a great atmosphere. They have several large screens and loads of space. There is an upstairs and I just felt this pub had areas which are perfect for a gathering and still private. They work on an app purchase which I can see being the way forward for most pubs now. No longer the days of standing at a bar having to wait to be served. The dirty burgers were great and full of taste.
