   My wife and I had a very good time at the Lamb and Lion this weekend and the staff were so caring and very accomadating to our needs whilst in a booth. we were watching football and darts during the course of Saturday and they were happy to change channels at our request. The food was very good and choice of drinks were great but the staff were amazing. thank you all and see you soon. Terry and Kerry

   Good food traditional and also modern. We came past 7pm but still perfect service etc. before kitchen closing. Friendly staff and fair prices for 4 drinks mains and desserts made it to a wonderful dinner for our family.

   Dont come here for dinner. Ordered a steak, half of what was presented on the menu was not included. Got a half raw tomato instead of grilled tomato. Ordered a wagyu burger with bacon, truffle, etc. Got a regular burger with some sauce and salad. When I asked for the bacon and cheese, they brought me a bowl with cold shredded cheese and some raw bacon. Don't understand how they take themselves seriously...

   We visited today with our dog's, one of the pleasant young lady's said we could enter via a side gate. We had the £8 lunch meal, food was fabulous and served very quickly. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, would definitely recommend.

   Stopped by this pub because we loved the logo and was so happy with the food and service. Bartender was so helpful in explaining some of the drinks and letting me sample before committing to a delicious strawberry cider. The food was wonderful! I gave atmosphere a lower score because the bathrooms definitely needed cleaned.

   This place served some of the best fish and chips I've eaten in years, crispy batter and tender fish along with some nicely fried chips. My missus ordered a hunter's chicken pie and that was also very good. The staff were so nice and polite it definitely made the lunch experience there even more enjoyable.

   We had the rump steak, chicken and crispy bacon, half duck. All and all meals were okay, the rump was a little tuff and the bacon wasn’t crispy, we did want to order all day breakfast or mixed grill but they were unavailable.

   We went here for Sunday roast which was very tasty. Once the food was ordered which you do at the bar we didnt have to wait very long. Remember your table number for when you go to order your food. The football was being showed on the screens, which wasn't a problem to us, but if you don't have any interest in football this may not be the right place for you. Although there was a quieter area to sit, and there is also a garden to sit in. Excellent service, friendly staff and great food, I would recommend this pub for a Sunday roast.

   Popped inside to get out of the rain and ended up enjoying a lovely drink. The place was very clean and the staff were friendly. There are plenty of TVs within. There was a good selection of fruit ciders available. We didn't eat but food portions on another table appeared small.

   Nice pub off the beaten path. Friendly staff who will go out of their way to help you be comfortable. I came here during the terrible heat wave. The kitchen was closed for 30 mins. So the bar tender made sure I was comfortable. Then I was served food. Overall a awesome experience and great English food.
