I had a fantastic experience at Hall & Woodhouse. The food was absolutely excellent—full of flavour, beautifully presented, and arrived piping hot despite how busy it was. What really made the visit outstanding, though, was the service. Everyone there was outstanding. Luke went above and beyond for us, even during the hectic Christmas period. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. A brilliant visit all round. Highly recommend!

Visited for Sunday lunch and we were seated upstairs, albeit a bit slowly. A drinks order was taken but this turned up after the food did. The whole plate was quite dry as I assume they were stood under the heat lamp for a few hours. We did ask for more gravy as only the tiniest bit was plated. Overall fine, but nothing special.

Called in for a quick unhooked lunch on a Friday, fairly quiet but that suited us, have been here in the evening and I,m sure you may have to book as it’s very popular. Fantastic setting over two floors, gets very busy and its really buzzing. Lunch was yummy even though it was just sandwiches! Even the toilets (downstairs) have a grand entry, copper wall to wall and nice and old style but very clean. Overall it’s a nice venue that attracts a posher crowd, there’s no football tops in here, good for families friends and ladies that lunch. Prices reflect the clientele, well worth going of the main shopping drag to find this place. It’s near to some other nice pubs and unique bars.

Probably should worth more stars than given on food. Sunday roast was a bit disappointing but very good fish pie nevertheless. Comprehensive drink menu with very good vibes in the restaurant. First restaurant visited after arrival in Bath and have quite a good time there. Guess this restaurant should worth the four stars they are having and most probably should get them the second chance for their food if possible.

The place looks and feels very upmarket and an ideal place for a birthday meal. There were several hen parties on the tables around us enjoying the atmosphere. The food sounds very fancy on the menu, however the rigatoni carbonara didn't live up to my expectations.

Really great place for food and socials. We were really well looked after by the staff, very quick and attentive service. Food was delicious. We had the burgers, steak and duck leg. All were delicious- the fries were lush, steak was cooked very well and so was the burger. Duck was lovely but it missed having the skin a bit more crispy. Very impressed to see how dog friendly it is- we were given a bowl with water and a small plate with dog bones on it - fantastic addition! The place it self looks amazing! With the big staircase and a very open restaurant. Definitely recommend here and the prices are really great.

Fabulous to sit in the sunshine on the roof garden and enjoy a glass of wine. Then pop downstairs for a lovely meal to end a day of sightseeing. Lovely helpful staff and fab food.

Very yummy and fulfilling Sunday roasts - specifically for the beef! Even the fish and chips boasts a slight twist and speciality. Brilliant all rounded bar for drinks and dining! Lovely staff and ambiance!

Fantastic food, great ambience and awesome service. We went on a Sunday late afternoon and had such a great time that we would certainly be back soon. The food was tasty and well prepared and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The venue has a really great atmosphere and rich history with some great menu choices.

Great pub tucked away which has a spacious ground floor seating area which is quirky, plush and full of ambience where you can enjoy a drink in a very relaxed atmosphere. Upstairs is the restaurant and whilst the menu is simple, the food was very pleasant and tasty. Salmon and sea bream were really good. Service was really good as well and staff were attentive. On a summers day they have a terrace open for drinks and whilst the views are just of roof tops it's a great vibe Ans certainly worth a visit.
