Cracking boozer, one of the very few authentic, grounded pubs you’ll find nowadays! Good people, good prices and Handsome bar staff!!! Recommended!

Dingy pub but worth the cost of pints, recommended being a local after 8pm or you will be stared at and introduced by the locals, snacks behind the bar we didn’t feel comfortable eating

Friendliest pub in the world! Kelly & Paddy always in good form, a cracking juke box, live sports & never had a bad pint in there

Good pub good prices nice atmosphere and people. There are not two many drinking pubs left, they are almost all foody, wine, front room types of inns. But this is a good drinking pub. Only down side is the looes are a little smelly and messy.

What can I say. Not only the best pub I've been to in Bristol, but probably in my top 10. Decent range of beer at a price you'd expect 10 years ago, quality locals, and the landlady is mint. Sports on the telly, great banter, a range of entertainment and a proper local for local people vibe. Not a food gaff, but the beef and horseradish rolls behind the bar are a meal in themselves. If you like a spit and sawdust/does what it says on the tin kind of place, this is for you. If you prefer a more upmarket hipster experience where you pay £5 for a pint and sit on uncomfortable picnic furniture inside then there's a ton of alternatives locally. If you fancy a well priced decent pint and great atmosphere, with an Aldi and bus stop within 30 seconds walking distance (maybe a couple of minutes after a couple of pints) then this is the place for you.
