    24 years ago, The Ringmaker made my wedding ring and I've been so proud to wear it. Last November, I managed to clatter it, bending it out of shape. I'd also lost weight and the ring had grown worryingly loose. The Ringmaker team did a fantastic job of repairing the ring, re-engraving it, and then adding some more white gold to the inside of the band to reduce the ring size perfectly. I love that the fix they've done is fairly future proof; as I get older, we can size it back up if ever that's needed. Thank you so much!!

    I was a drop in, wanted to buy a nice piece of jewelry while in Edinburgh and wasn't finding anything unique on the high street. The Ringmaker had a beautiful small selection of Scottish-made jewlery at a range of price points. I ended up with some silver ear rings with lab-sapphires!

    I recently had my wedding and engagement rings remodelled by Helen and The Ringmaker team in Edinburgh. I wanted to incorporate some additional family/heirloom gold /diamonds into my new design, and was also able to offset some of the cost with items that didn’t hold sentimental value. I absolutely loved the creative design process! Helen is so talented and was incredibly patient and in tune with what I was trying to achieve. I think we ran through designs multiple times.     The service on initial visit was good, and so was the design consultation, but it was downhill from there. They arranged 4 stones for us to view, and I had told them my budget. I was informed that they would not get any stones outside of our budget. When I took my wife to view the 4 stones, 2 where totally wrong colour (because they made a mistake), and 1 was too small, so we only got a choice of 1. To add insult to injury they subsequently told me it was over my budget! The ring was delivered late, and there where no updates unless I chased them. I would not go back.

    I went to The Ringmaker in Edinburgh to get an engagement ring. I was clueless for what to expect/do. However, Francesca was so helpful in explaining the important things to look for when getting an engagement ring. She ended up designing the ring and put up with me for almost 4 hours asking questions, changing minor details in the design or starting from scratch. She was unbelievably patient and helpful. The ring she designed is beautiful and my fiancé has said we couldn’t have made a “more perfect” one if we tried. Francesca was also fantastic in making slight alterations to the ring so that it fell within my budget without compromising the design/look. Overall, I would highly recommend The Ringmaker and will definitely be going there for our wedding bands.
