   My wife has just completed a probate sale with this estate agency. As well as being a delicate matter we needed a lot of support from Victoria and Stephen as we lived nearly 300 miles away from Edinburgh. These lovely people were outstanding from start to finish. They handled all the viewings and retained the keys ensuring the security of Mum’s house through to completion. Not only that but amazingly they managed to achieve a fantastic price, which I know Mum would have been pleased with.    After a recent decision to move South I called Stephen with a price in mind for the property. He said he thinks he could get it but made no promises , for some reason I had faith in what he said and took a chance. Even when the sale became arduous with slow moving buyers within in the chain he reassured me and gave me the confidence to continue. Sometimes as a seller and with all the stress surrounding moving and receiving monies , you need to listen to reason.    Having met with one of the larger Edinburgh companies and Stephen of Truscott Property, we made the decision to go with Stephen to deal with the sale of our late Mother’s property. When we were looking for an estate agent, Stephen impressed with his knowledge of the Edinburgh market , particularly the locality of our Mum’s house, gave a very realistic idea what a likely sale price would be and gently guided us through the steps required of us, all in his enthusiastic, friendly but professional manner. If we had a question, we could speak directly to Stephen, if we popped into the office we were made to feel very welcome and we felt that the whole team was working to make this a smooth process for our family. We decided to sell off-market using Truscott’s database and quickly came to an agreement with a buyer. Stephen kept us informed throughout and everything went very smoothly.
