   The restaurant looked dirty and abandoned from the outside, but we still decided to give it a try. When we entered the nearly empty place around 4 PM, we were immediately told we only had one hour to eat due to upcoming reservations. We were then seated at a small table for two, placed right next to the toilet. The rushed attitude and the poor table location made us feel unwelcome, so we decided to leave. It was clear to us that we weren’t welcome. No problem — we’ll just go somewhere we are.

   We came for lunch as we happened to be in the vicinity and my wife fancied the three cheese crepes I'd seen in the menu online. So glad we did! Gabe's was amazing, their menu had so many options that I had difficulty choosing one but the chorizo bangers and mash were outstanding and I would genuinely sit with a jug of the gravy and a spoon. My wife adored the crepe we'd come for and insisted she was trying the raspberry and ginger one before we could go. Since that gave me time for the banana fritters it was not a problem! Overall this was ana amazing find that we would heartily recommend if you're anywhere nearby, and by that I mean I'm going to be driving up from Glasgow to explore more of their menu!

   Favourite place in Stirling. Every time I order something different on the menu and I am never disappointed. Love that there is so much choice on the menu. Cosy place and staff are lovely.

   The smell of the log fire caught my attention, and we followed it. The staff are awesome! My dog was made welcome and was brought a fresh bowl of water. The food was delicious! The coffee was really creamy. I ordered three for myself, two while eating and one for the road. I was visiting the area from Livingston, but I'll definitely come visit again, and if I know anyone who's going to Sterling I will highly recommend this place. The music volume was just right, and the ambiance was cosy. Thank you for a very pleasant experience. My son and his partner also thoroughly enjoyed their order from the menu, which has an impressive varied selection, all of which sounds tasty! 10/10

   The Fantastic braised beef was out of this world, literally melted in your mouth. Food was outstanding. Service was a bit poor than expected, first lady we felt was rushing us to order as 3 other tables were booked in. The younger lady in the hoody had very large false nails on. As a food business owner myself, I know that false nails are a no no and she had one missing, prayed it wasn't in my dinner. Owners were lovely and very welcoming. They don't serve alcohol but have a small fee for corkage which I think is a nice touch.
