This is for the cafe. What an awful experience. First we kept being ignored but the staff to be served. Then only after 10 minutes of opening they apparently had ran out of kids pancakes, so after making some different changes, were then told the kids couldn't eat for the £1 advertised as they didn't do other options for kids. And then to top it off, the dishes that did come out were awful. See the photos for yourselves. Very frustrating as they've not long spent money replacing tables and chairs but can't offer pancakes when sold downstairs. This place could do so well! £28 for this including coffees (best part). And just add at the end, notice no hash browns? But hash brown bites. Fine but not as advertised or told if the swap! Never going back and would never recommend.

This review probably won't change anything but as a loyal Asda customer for a good few years I decided to not buy anything there again because of this store. I moved to Bristol recently and went shopping. I used self checkout (decided not to print a receipt), and was about to leave the store when I forgot to buy bandaids. There were none on shelf so I passed self checkouts again where I was stopped by security guy and one of the shop workers suggesting I stole items in my bag. I explained what happened but I couldn't show receipt, neither my bank statement. I couldn't even pass the gate to prove that nothing would beep and at that time I got a bit nervous and stressed by the situation. I told them to watch CCTV as I am not going to discuss it anymore. 2nd shop worker approached me and started asking the same questions. I couldn't care less at that stage and just repeated what I said previously. In the end I was told to leave but such attitude is unacceptable. Not to mention most of shelves are empty, they could focus on putting stock on shelves rather that accusing people of attempting a theft.

Asda has never been the most pleasant supermarket, and this visit was no different. The store felt untidy, with dirty fixtures, a messy layout, and plenty of empty shelves. Shopping here is like visiting that one cousin who would happily eat a Poundland pizza instead of enjoying the roast dinner your mum made, just a bit grim, off, and unappealing. However, Asda is competitive with its prices.

This store is always such a mess. Mouldy potatoes. Incorrect shelf edge labels with prices written on with a pen. Cafe is rubbish. Food is cold and coffee tastes horrible. Staff aren't friendly in the cafe. Need more checkouts open at busy times. Staff constantly putting cages and crates in front of shelves. The petrol station is open 24hrs 7 days a week and has two jet washes. Air and vacuum machine. Improvements could be made but it's all about the cost which obviously Asda don't want to spend.

Great selection of clothes when I visited today. However your changing rooms weren't open which is ridiculous, there was no sign explaining why they weren't open. If I had been able to try on I definitely would have brought more clothes as wanted to check they fitted before buying. Please for future ensure your changing room is always open.

This store is a mess. No other way to describe it. Dirty, empty shelves at every turn. Wrong labels/pricing or products dumped in wrong places. There’s always stock cluttering the aisles, simply discarded on the floor still in sealed boxes or wrapped plastic and no staff in sight working them. Cages blocking shelves in nearly every aisle - almost like someone started doing something, clock out time came and they just walked off and left it. Managers walking around uselessly, floating past a pile of mess without a second glance. The bakery section is a joke - make sure to check dates on everythiiiiing because you’ll be lucky to get 2 days out of it. I’m a regular shopper to this store but I’m finding it more and more irritating every week. The only saving Grace is the kind lady at self serve scan yourself, she’s there all the time and she’s always polite, and the older gentlemen in glasses at the lottery counter - love that chap! Get it together, Longwell.

Queues at self checkout, no tills open. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I won't shop at Asda going forward, I go early with a toddler and a baby, having no tills open makes it incredibly difficult. Lots of frustrated older customers as well. Whoever's made this decision has lost the plot. Edit. I did ask for a checkout to open, was told it was only self checkout only and they couldn't. Edit. 1 month on, still wouldn't open a checkout this morning, left the shopping and went to Sainsbury's.

Word of warning, 3.30pm on a Monday and with 30 checkouts available only 3 are manned! Queues of 7 or 8 people at each till!!! A joke! Always at least one thing unavailable. Check out my photo of the bread aisle on a Monday afternoon! Will be changing my supermarket as there's plenty around! Get a grip!!!

One of the most disgusting food stores I have ever been. This branch of Asda should be ashamed of its self. Aisle after aisle of dirty shelving, including the cold fridges where fresh meat is being sold, fresh fruit and veg areas, it does not end there, the drinks aisle, the freezers everywhere you look it’s dirty grubby shop areas. this super market needs a deep clean. I am surprised it’s not been closed down by the council for hygiene reasons. I will never return. The management need to address this ASAP, please see the photos below
