    These pictures show my wedding band after 2-3 wears. This ring had previously been returned due to the same problem. I do not have a manual job, I don't even wear my ring to work, I don't wear this ring during exercise. This damage occurred through regular wear for very short periods of time. Please note that I had bought a 3-year insurance on this ring which is to cover damage, theft and loss. I have been told by Chisholm Hunter (through Trustpilot, check this review and response) that this was done as a β€œgesture of goodwill”. I was originally told on the phone that the initial restoration would cost around Β£50. I agreed to pay but registered a complaint and mentioned I would state this on Trustpilot. Less than 30 minutes later I received a call from the same teller to advise me that a mistake had been made and my ring was under warrantee. I returned the ring less than 2 months later, covered in scratches. The manager of the store agreed that this was an unacceptable product and well below the standards of Chisholm Hunter. She informed me that a new ring would be the most likely scenario as there appeared to be a problem with the rhodium plating. As I previously stated, I do not wear this ring regularly. The ring was first damaged when I wore it at home during dinner. Chisholm Hunter have stated I had been β€œadvised” that the ring β€œrequires periodic rhodium plating and is more susceptible to surface wear, especially with regular use”. I do not remember this being mentioned to me but regardless, it is incomprehensible to imagine Chisholm Hunter would sell an item of such importance and price that can be tarnished within minutes. Perhaps the worst of all, I had to find out Chisholm Hunter would not repair my ring publically through TrustPilot. I find this incredibly unprofessional.
