Excellent service from Victoria Vaults. Kind, caring and understanding staff who repaired a very sentimental item for my parents, once at their own cost. Not many businesses like this around these days and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Truly five star! Thank you once again.
Need to train staff as now chain won't fit pendant which go together!! After paying 18.95 for chain solder. Woman serving said she didn't need the pendant when I handed both over!!! Aaah. Charging more to fix the problem?! And another 2 trips to the shop no thanks.
Not a trustworthy shop owner. I bought several rings in to see if they where worth saving or put then to scrap, the shop owner only offered me £35 total. This shows why you should always get several valuations before you send anything to get scrapped. Here l took 4 chunky gold rings where valued at £10 and a diamond ring was valued at £25. A few months previously l had the diamond ring valued at £2500 scrap value due to the metal content and diamonds. Owner of the shop made out that the gold content wasn't worth much and the sto es where worth nothing. Shows how quick someone can get ripped off here pretty quickly
Gold chain shortened and clasp resoldered, stone in brooch tested & gold carat of another brooch tested all within 20mins. Brilliant service and price. 5*
Place is a joke. Took a bracelet in for a £6.95 repair to an attachment on the end bracket. 2 days later the end bracket mysteriously broke. Took it back to be told it was £25.00 to have them soldered. The soldering which was done increased the size of the end bracket so picked it up on the Friday took it off on the Saturday and the spring catch snapped at the end where it attached to the end bracket. Took it back to be told £100 for a replacement catch. Told him the place was a joke and I should have went to a proper jewellers shop in the first place. He then offered a new catch at half the size of my original gold catch if I pay him £30 and he keeps the larger gold catch. Stay well clear and go to a proper jewellery shop !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE FOR ANY JEWELLERY REPAIRS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
