    Lady with short dark hair is the so called manager at this store. She is rude and terrible customer service and behaviour displayed from a manager. Have never experience such a rude manager, it was so bad that we made formal complaint to head office. She turned the petrol pumps off because they were ‘busy’ Meanwhile only myself and 1 other person in the whole shop…laziness more like

    Sunday, 28th September, 2025, half of the pumps out of fuel. The ones operational were pay at the pump only, completely useless if you use an Esso card. My wife was told the Esso card machine was out of action anyway. We returned the following day to find the pumps still the same. Tesco and Esso, both huge companies - absolute shambles!

    Paying for fuel is usually a little slow because the Tesco store is so busy. However, I don't mind the wait as the staff are so friendly.

    Stuff of nightmares. The staff are always too busy chatting to their mates to handle the ridiculous queue that consumes nearly all of the already limited amount of space. The shop is like an obstacle course all the time with pallets cages and packaging everywhere and the prices are outrageous for a council estate shop. If you need fuel there's a Shell less than 2 miles down the road and if you need shop stuff then there's a much more pleasant Costcutter within a few minutes walk. Basically a it's a chaotic, uncomfortable, anxiety triggering hellhole of a place.

    Visited the store this morning four people in the queue and one staff member serving! I mentioned that two people serving would be beneficial at that time of day as people needed to get to work only to be told that two staff members were not needed as the queue wasn’t out the door! The staff member wasn't interested in the fact that people were kept waiting due to ‘shoppers’ and wasn't prepared to do anything about, not a positive customer experience and after reading other google reviews it appears that other customers have had the same experience relating to queue management!

    Needs more staff on the tills and to open a till just gor fuel can wait for a good 20mins just to get fuel never mind the wait to pay

    Easily the rudest staff from any Tesco's or supermarket I have been to. Everytime I go in the staff seem more interested in having a conversation with eachother at the checkouts than serving. The ammount of times that I have had personally or seen a member of staff not speak to a customer at any point of the scanning and paying process in unreal. Somebody needs to give them some serious customer service training.
