   I wanted to write a positive review after using GSC twice for an important job - both times they have been super helpful on the phone and dispatched my paper pronto, well wrapped and with great customer service. I was suprised to see the less positive reviews here, but certainly for what it's worth, I have only had good experiences of this company! thanks GCS!

   I had a very upsetting experience recently that I feel needs to be shared, in hopes it prevents others from going through the same. While out in Bath, I was subjected to extremely derogatory and inappropriate remarks from a woman named Gillian, who I was later informed works at this store. The comments made were deeply offensive and made me feel humiliated and unsafe. Whether intentional or not, the way I was treated was discriminatory and completely unacceptable. It’s incredibly disheartening to be spoken to in such a way, especially in a community that should be striving for kindness and respect. Another person who witnessed the incident was kind enough to support me and confirm the identity of the woman involved. I’m sharing this not out of spite, but because everyone deserves to be treated with dignity — and no one should have to face that kind of behaviour, especially from someone representing a business. I hope the store and those responsible take this seriously and ensure that this does not happen again to anyone else.

   I really wanted to like this stationery shop, especially because it promotes sustainability and uses recyclable materials—which I fully support. But unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The layout of the store is honestly a mess. It’s cramped, disorganized, and makes browsing incredibly frustrating. You’d expect a stationery shop to be stocked with all the essentials— but they’re missing so many of the basics. Half the time, I couldn’t find what I needed, and when I asked for help, things took an even worse turn. There’s an elderly woman who works there, and I have to say—she is extremely rude. Not just curt or having a bad day, but consistently unpleasant. It’s disheartening, because while the shop claims to care about the planet, it seems to have little interest in treating its customers with kindness or respect. Caring for the environment is a wonderful goal, but it doesn’t excuse poor customer service or a badly run business. If anything, that kind of mission should come with more warmth and community spirit—not less. I won’t be returning. There are plenty of other places that manage to balance sustainability and basic decency.

   Don't buy if you are an end consumer! Nice products but the administration is a mess. Website is login based (so if you login after you have added items to the basket, everything is lost). Promotions are advertised but not honoured. More importantly, greenstat dubiously infers you are using the products in a company and not by the end consumer, so avoids having to adhere to the Consumer Contracts regulations. This means they set their own terms for return of unwanted goods, At YOUR COST. Be warned as this practise of questionable ethics seem to be rife across the stationery industry. I will be staying well away in the future.

   Our company has been using greenstationary for a while, I have compared many prices from other suppliers and they can’t be beaten. If I make a mistake on an order I contact our rep Scott who responds very quickly and resolves the issue efficiently. Greenstationary is trustworthy and easy to use!!
