We have had a brilliant experience with Care Fertility Bath and are so grateful to have been in their care. The team have been kind, supportive and empathetic throughout our journey but particularly during IVF. They have ensured we feel safe and understood and have tailored their approach to our specific needs. We are so thankful to have had their guidance and support during such a challenging time.

We completed 2 ivf cycles then and additional 2 through DuoStim. There have been a disgraceful number of errors. Including but not limited to, not sharing information or giving incorrect information, mismanaging medication and appointment times, failing to deliver on advertised treatment packages and breaking of GDPR by sharing confidential information in a public space in front of other patients. One of my biggest life regrets to date was choosing Care Fertility. Think we're about £35-£40k out of pocket to date. Not all ivf treatments are successful, but I don't feel we maximised our chances by choosing Care Fertility. I highly encourage others to find a better provider. It's too important, please don't make the mistakes we did.

Our experience with Care Fertility Bath has been deeply traumatic and continues to cause us stress and frustration. The level of incompetence we have encountered is genuinely alarming. IVF is one of the most emotionally and physically demanding journeys a person can go through - they are creating life!! At a time when compassion and professionalism are essential, Care Fertility offered neither. I would strongly advise anyone considering treatment to look elsewhere. Their priority appears to be financial gain, not patient wellbeing. We have paid over £15,000 so far with Care. What we received in return was shockingly substandard: just one monitoring scan, no blood tests, and a chaotic, disorganised approach on the day of egg collection. They hadn’t even prepared the necessary admin. As a result, I had already ovulated by the time they attempted retrieval. Instead of acknowledging their failure to monitor properly, they blamed my body and suggested I use donor eggs. It was a devastating and dismissive response, with zero accountability. We later sought treatment at a clinic abroad, where I was properly monitored and we successfully collected seven eggs, with another embryo now in storage. So much for my body being to blame! The care there was compassionate, professional, and remarkably less than half the cost, through Dr George. When we raised a formal complaint with Care, the response felt more like a negotiation at a car showroom than a sincere attempt to address their failings. Their “resolution” would have actually cost us more money. Even our consultation with the new Head of Service was disheartening. He hadn’t reviewed our notes, wasn’t prepared for the call, and I ended up having to explain what protocol would work best, based on my experience abroad. Why was I the one guiding the medical conversation? Isn’t that what we’re paying thousands for? Despite our concerns about inadequate monitoring, he insisted that only one scan would be provided and that medication would be used to force egg collection into one of two preset days. How can success be achieved with such rigid, cost-cutting measures? The atmosphere at the clinic is cold and transactional. From the moment you walk in, there’s no greeting, just a reminder that you have an outstanding invoice. We’ve felt like a nuisance from the start, not a vulnerable couple seeking help. Fertility treatment demands empathy, expertise, and care. We received none of that. Please, please save yourself the heartache and look elsewhere.

Unfortunately myself and my Husband didn’t have the best experience with Care Fertility Bath, I would urge people to choose a different clinic, they caused much more stress than needed.. still without a baby after 4 transfers!

I was an NHS patient at Care Fertility Bath in 2023-2024, and I had a wonderful experience. All the nurses, doctors, embryologists, receptionists - everyone was kind, understanding & informative, and the clinic itself is a welcoming place. We had one round of ICSI IVF and two embryo transfers, the second being successful. The process was really quick once we got started, I know the timings depend very much on the patients and how busy the clinic is etc. so maybe we just got lucky, but I was pregnant within 9 months of our first appointment. The care before, during and after my treatment was great, I really didn't know what to expect when we went for our first appointment but everything went so much more smoothly than I anticipated. It's a strange situation to find yourself in, we were advised to take it one step at a time which was the best advice, and I was always made to feel comfortable. No procedures were painful and everything was discussed with me clearly before going ahead. I would recommend this clinic and I would return there in the future.

Anyone looking into using the clinic just be aware they don’t use an ultrasound scan when doing transfer.

I wouldn't ever be able to do justice to how grateful we are for everything that Care Bath has done for our family. I couldn't recommend the clinic highly enough. The staff are compassionate, empathetic and incredibly kind. Dr Walker's professionalism and expertise are invaluable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for looking after us so well.

I came to Care Fertility Bath as an older woman (43) and conceived after 3 attempts at IUI. My beautiful baby boy is now 5 months old and thriving! I am extremely grateful to Care for their attention to my individual fertility profile, which meant that I was able to conceive with less intervention than is normal for my age. My experience of the clinic and its staff was good in every respect - I recommend it highly and without reservation.
