Couldn’t fault it! We had a great meal and drinks. All the staff were friendly and it made for a perfect Christmas meet up with friends

Lovely boutique hotel with a busy pub. the building is old and charming, beautiful staircase. Beds are comfortable and bathroom clean with great hot water. Street is quiet. It was too rainy to sit in the garden- small and attached to the pub. Lovely staff - upgraded me to room on a lower floor and helped lug 5 great cases up the stairs. I tried to extend my stay but they were full up. Had a great stay.

Hosted our engagement party at the channings and they were amazing! Taylor was incredible in helping organising the night, Jas & Siddha provided amazing service all night. Couldn’t recommend The Channings enough for your next event. Thanks for making our night so special

Lovely pub, very welcoming staff! We took shelter here on a cold day and loved it. There's a fabulous outdoor area for the warmer months as well. We didn't stay in the rooms but the bar downstairs was spotlessly kept. Would definitely come again!

The Channing's a hotel , one of my favourite spots in Clifton as it has a lovely garden for the sunny days with a lovely Moretti and some food. Most of all the staff are friendly and very helpful especially Megan as i got to no her over years she is the best .. and Bradly doesn’t fall short of jokes. Seb behind the bar is a STAR. very recommended

Nice stay.Very approachable to food places and near to the city centre and Clifton Bridge. A number of places to explore nearby. Room was clean but carpet can be deep cleaned/changed , otherwise good value for money. Stay very friendly. Lovely garden space for food. It doesn't have a parking. If coming by car can be difficult to find parking nearby.

Stayed The night.. tired dated room not worth the 97 bucks, plug socket loose stains on walls pure basic amenities stayed in better for half the price. Pub toilets rough , food was average had southern fried chicken sandwich that looked like it had been thrown on the plate . Bar staff were tidy tho clearly understaffed. Shame lovely building but Premier inn for me next time I'm visiting

We come here pretty regularly for pudding and a pint or just a relaxed evening out. The staff are always happy to help and the restaurant is a lovely place to be. It can be pretty busy due to the location, but it makes for a great atmosphere. Food is always lovely as well - will certainly be back

Loved this pub! The aesthetic inside is lovely and so are the workers:) we had a nice meal for 3 and all the food was great. Really great pricing and good TVs to watch rugby/football. The only thing I’d think to improve is the gluten free menu (there is basically nothing - especially for vegetarians who are gluten free!) x

Awesome venue with great architecture and heaps of character. Enjoyed our weekend stay, room was spot on. We had a few drinks in the lively bar on Saturday. Perfect poached eggs with my smashed avacados on Sunday morning. Definitely recommend....
