Went to the Psychic night in September here. Reasonably priced and the food was good too! Went with a friend and recommended to others. Nice authentic pub. Be mindful if you’re tall, felt like I was entering into a hobbit house! Service was brilliant and staff were very kind. Would definitely go again :)
Delicious food and great service. Been in 3 times now and I have to say the roast steals the show it is amazing! Very cosy so you will likely be sat very close to other guests but it wasn’t a problem for us. I would highly recommend! Paid parking right next to the pub (I would recommend putting google maps to there as otherwise it takes you to the other side).
A lovely little pub that’s always busy. I haven’t tried the restaurant menu yet, but I have ordered from the garden menu and the food was very tasty with prompt service.
Really beautiful historic pub, I used to come here with my cousins many moons ago. We came in on the off chance, it was very busy - they managed to accommodate us. The service was attentive, friendly and professional. The food was exquisite. Really tasty and filling. I eat a lot but after a shared starter and main, I couldn’t contemplate a dessert course. Had a great roast dinner for four of us today. Nice quality food. Under £20 per head for two courses.
Lovely and quiet. Nice meal. We had the steak. Staff we great. Only downside is I’m 6ft 5 and had to keep bent over due to the period features. Otherwise a lovely experience
Great building from 1485, low wooden ceiling, and small ambience make you feel back in the past. The service is great, fast and gentle, and the drinks cool (tried the draugh beer). The menu spaces across meal, fish and veggy. If you want to breath an old English pub than thisnis a must go place in Birmingham.
Stopped here for Sunday lunch and we weren't let down. Absolutely beautiful food. Lovely staff and a lovely quaint little pub. Definitely worth stopping by for. Thanks guys.
