We went as a group of family and friends from out of town on a busy Friday evening. We really appreciated the way Mick, Linda and their staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The food, beer and ambience were excellent, as was the impromptu entertainment. Perfect English pub that deserves your custom.
The people are amazing and they know their drinks. Had the best ever night.
The food here is lovely and very well priced. The lady behind the bar is a delight to talk to! The owner Mick I think is so friendly and really goes out of his way to provide a good experience! I love coming here!!
Called in on a Friday lunch time after recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. Lovely little old fashioned pub with friendly and welcoming staff. We had a sandwich each, wife had prawn and I had beef and stilton, on brown bread. Both delicious and will certainly be having again. Just a bit of info for those wanting to eat here, food only served Wednesday to Saturday, 12 00 to 14 00.
Visited here for a pub pint with colleagues. Plenty of parking if you need to drive but an easy walk into the village otherwise. Great selection of beers and the staff are welcoming and friendly if you want to ask about what's on tap.
