    I often eat here and it has always been good I recommend it to my friends for our annual Christmas lunch. Oh my goodness, it was not good but as we were such a large group didn’t say anything. I had pate. It was obviously cheap and bought in and had very little taste, the Turkey roll, well let’s just say my dog was still eating it 3 days later. It was tough, dry and tasteless. The roast potatoes weren’t crispy, the parsnips were limp and the Brussels were frozen not fresh. You couldn’t put your fork in them and there was an overwhelming taste of garlic on them. As a regular customer I wasn’t going to write this review, instead opting to email the manager. However as I had no reply I have written my review.

The food was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour — you can tell real care goes into every dish. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome without being intrusive. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, making it perfect for both a special occasion or a casual evening out. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be returning soon!

    We had a lovely lunch at The Bull. It was our first visit and we will definitely be back. The staff were great and after mentioning it was my Birthday and 25th Wedding Anniversary the lovely waitress Amy brought over a card from the team! Look forward to returning!

    First visit and loved everything about it. First Christmas get together and everything was just perfect. Catered well for everyone in our large party. Huge well done to the head chef and their team, especially loved the sticky toffee Christmas pudding which was deceivingly light and scrumptious.

    Really nice meal, had pie and mash. Then had the kinder cookie dough dessert would highly recommend. However my friend had a slight reaction to the vegan dessert as she has a dairy allergy. She didn't tell them about her allergy so wasn't completely their fault but it does show they must of contained the vegan dessert with dairy so how. Overall great pub and great food.

    Good old fashioned roast dinner, consisting of roasties/yorkie pud and a mixture of meats, I had the mixed roast which was 1/2 a roast chicken and beef and my daughter chose the beef, was enjoyable

    Wow, what a lovely experience. Food was fab and service excellent. A place with personality. Friendly, helpful staff who looked after our needs fabulously. Will be returning but probably without the grand kids next time.

    Refurbed, new owners, new menu, new look Nipped in for lunch and was seriously impressed by the upgrade to the place, the menu choice and the service, which was outstanding The food was excellent and the Everards Tiger was also spot on Highly recommended
