   I visited today in a panic. I didnt know where i needed to find the item i needed for Tomorow. Maria see this and asked if i needed help. She was absolutely fantastic. So helpful polite honest. She calmed me down when i was panicking about a last min jacket for me son. She is worth her weight in gold in that shop. 100% needs a pay raise

   Shocking attitude and Customer Service from the two women working in the store today Sunday 29th September. I returned a cardigan that l purchased only the day before 28th September from Albany Road but because l was in the Canton area visiting a friend l thought l would return to the Cowbridge road store. The receipt was very faint ( ink was faded) but you could clearly see the price l paid but they told me they weren't able to scan the receipt to process the refund. It was like a huge catastrophe had started!. The small woman with the glasses then called over her colleague a taller woman who also wore glasses with long dark hair( think she may have been the superviser) The way l was made to feel was shocking, It was like it was all my fault that they couldn't scan the receipt because the ink was faded and get the details off it!. They then asked me for my name and address and AGAIN it was like it was MY fault because my postcode wasn't coming up on their system and they were both getting agitated even though my post code was correct and l have actually returned items there before and the blonde lady, who is normally working is always so polite and professional and she never had a problem when l have given her my postcode. Anyway after the big palarvour and making me feel like it was all my fault that the receipt was faded they eventually managed to get the till working to process my refund by manually inputting the information into their system after they fumbled about for ages amongst themselves..I then walked away to have a look at the shoe section and they continued to whisper and talk about me as l was walking away .Absolute disgusting attitude, they clearly both lack Customer Service skills and the ability to remain calm and professional when a small problem arises. I left and did not purchase anything, made me feel so uncomfortable and not wanting to return to this store again due to their ignorant manner.

   Staff always friendly and very helpful. Showed an assistant an order I had pending on line, and as the items were in stock in the shop, the assistant went and got them for me! Easy to use for click and collect

   Been shopping here since a little girl with my mum it sold Net and curtains fabric etc .. Great store .Stafford always lovely always happy smiling helpful nothing ever to much trouble. Still a great store with wide selection for everyone . Including miscellaneous things candles etc. Glad it still going strong as no other decent clothes shops in canton everything charity shop or Turkish barbers or food . Definatly the staff here that make this store such a good success . Worth 10 stars not 5

   Great store to shop in, good selection of clothes and so spacious + clean compared to other Peacocks branches in Cardiff. I always find the staff are so friendly and their customer service is amazing. Me and my family shop here often and Maria is always so willing to help when we need it, she goes out of her way to make conversation and see how we are, and helps us find what we are looking for. She makes a difference compared to a lot of retail workers who are unhelpful and miserable. Love the store and the clothing.
