   How is this a vintage shop it’s terrible my boyfriend brought a carhartt jacket ( with the logo on) from there then we took it home and looked at it closely it was poorly made and we decided to get a refund so we went back and they don’t do refunds and they stated that this jacket was made up of the carhartt clothes. So it was not a real carhartt item it was basically a rip off for £65. Nice jacket but this jackets should not have the carhartt logo if it isn’t from the carhartt brand. Complete rip off

   I liked a shirt here and saw a button was missing but was too impatient to wait. I went back and Pax kindly sewed a new one on! Only I wish I had a handmade top like Kiera. The customer service was great and the shop was very tidily laid out. Thank you

   A review in three parts - By Dexter Budd. Thursday May 25th, there I was almost half way through the year. The sun was shining, I sat photosynthesising, punishing myself with hot black coffee for my sins. I began to wonder, do they make boyfriend jeans for men? After all, the postulation of the name would suggest they do. Excited by my musings but, cautious to get over excited, preparing myself for the disappointment of yet another day dream dematerialising in-front of me. There had already been enough disappointment this year. Undeterred by my pessimism, and conferring with my wallet I allowed my body to take over, I became lucid. Borderline Astral, the next thing I knew I was in Sobeys. Somehow in my hands existed the perfect pair of jeans. Nice colour, (powder blue) perfect cut (not too skinny, not a too baggy), seemingly my size and to top it all off, there it was the unmistakable curled C leather patch punctuating the left buttcheek (the best buttcheek). How had fate led me here? Or perhaps my subconscious knew that the only place these could possibly exist was Sobeys? But, there was a problem. I was one day away from payday. I couldn’t just leave now knowing they exist. The panic and jealousy overtook me, just thinking of someone else with their hands all over my jeans…I felt sick. So I gambled, I approached the young lady behind the till. She gave off a very approachable energy, something told me she too understood that I was there not just as an average browser but, someone on a mission. I braced myself, expecting a no due to policy etc but, I enquired if they can hold items until a later date. She looked me in the eyes and said the words every man wants to hear. Yes. Excellent, I was one step closer. All that lay between me and the jeans was time. And I’m a patient man. Friday 26th. The day had come. I couldn’t believe it, I had scarcely slept. I had even dreamt that I was chasing the trousers through some kind of cheap denim hellscape. I checked my balance feverishly. All was in order and it was on. I set off with great purpose and intent. Only one thing stood before me and my goal, around 1 mile of hell. Newport Road. I walked for what felt like an eternity, overcoming thirst and intense hunger. I became fugue like. What if they had been mistakenly sold? Or god forbid, what if they didn’t fit?!? I seemed to black out again, awaking in Sobeys with the same kind hearted girl handing me the jeans. She graciously let me try them on. My initial assessment had rung true and in a coalescence of denim, dreams and destiny I felt whole. I emerged a new man, eager to take my bounty home I approached the till. Cash or card? My mind swirling in ecstasy and disbelief couldn’t quite compute this. I knew I didn’t have cash but, it threw me. Such commitment, such a passion for payment types. Card I mumbled, I moved my phone closer to the reader and there it was, the sound of victory in the form of that beep that card machines make, you know the one. I have never left a review on google but, a wave of sadness overcame me when the girl told me that she had received a negative review recently. I was in disbelief, this kind hearted soul, this keeper of jeans and asker of questions . Who could be so cruel? I asked her name to be sure she gets the praise she deserves. Brooke. A strong name, thank you. You may have only felt as though you were simply selling a pair of jeans but, what you don’t know is. You sold a dream.

   i was so pleased with my experience when i visited the Cardiff Branch this weekend. i was helped by the most pleasant helpful young lady Carys, what an absolute asset she is!! her advice was second to none and she was so friendly i instantly felt at ease with her by my side!! i will look forward to visiting again
