   Currys Newport (Cardiff Road) - probably one of the worst I've seen. Smells dirty as soon as you enter and collection service was chaotic. I overheard another customer being told there were "newbies" being trained. I got my items OK after a small delay due to the prior customer's issues. Staff were polite enough and helped take the heavy item out to my car. I'd selected this branch for delivery/collection in error as I'd intended for it to be Newport Road, Cardiff store. The latter is cleaner & brighter although the staff there are somewhat disinterested and not very knowledgeable in my recent experience.

   Friendly staff but push their own warranty even though all products come with manufacturer's warranty. After sales service is shocking they really really do not want you to return a product that is unsuitable or unsatisfactory even though the consumer rights say you are entitled.

   The managers act very unfriendly and unprofessionally when a customer has an issue with a purchased product, even though everything seemed perfect at the time of purchase. When a problem arises, they all disclaim responsibility and say they don’t know why such a statement was made .

   Bought a new TV from the Newport store. Didn’t really know which one to get or which one was suited best. JAKE was amazing and really helpful, really informed us about the different types of TV’s. Really patient with us and helped us make a massive decision. Best customer service from him, really appreciate all of his help. Thankyou Jake!

   Very appalling service. I went into store yesterday and spoke to the manager Hayden sales manager regarding a feature on my fridge. He listened looked at us in an unbothered way and said our warranty is now void due to us touching a feature on our fridge which was totally incorrect. When I called and spoke to hoover they clarified that this was incorrect. I had to then raise a complaint with curry’s as his attitude left us in a rat run.

   Always pleasures shopping here. Friendly and knowledgeable staff also. Got my cooker from there and it was nicely installed. It was however too expensive to have it done for over half the price I got it.

   Staff coukdnt have been nicer except for the manager. He was nice enough to me but hearing how he spoke to his staff makes me feel bad for them. Store itself is decent enough but would probably advise going to the bigger one on Newport Road in Cardiff. It's not that far and has a better selection.

   The only store of its kind in and around Newport, supplying household electrical goods in abundance. If its a TV your after, or a washing machine, maybe a vaccum cleaner, perhaps some white goods or a toaster, coffee machine, laptop, smart light, headphones, or just need some advice. The list goes on and on. Not always so well stocked but nicely displayed whereas Items can be ordered on request. Good store

   The guy that served us on TVs was a wealth of knowledge and advised us to purchase the right TV for my son in his flat that was also compatible with gaming .we had to wait some 20 minutes or so because he was advising another customer also short of colleagues in store.

   My Son wanted to pop to curry’s so being a great dad I took him over to the Newport store. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by very polite and friendly staff member. My son told him what he was looking for and straight away the employee was there to help and give what I’d say expertise knowledge. While they chatted I had a look around store, great shop full of tech and appliances. Big thanks to the staff Recommend if you want to see product rather than online shop. Well worth a visit
