Visited Knighton Dental & Cosmetic Clinic for the first time yesterday (17/12/25) for a dentist appointment, and really enjoyed it. Friendly staff all round and welcomed me in a polite manner. Very convenient for me as it is close to where I live. Got my next appointment with them on 22/06/26 and will continue to book with them for the foreseeable future.

My mum visited the dentist today for a deep clean and was extremely pleased with how gentle Kate was. Very happy that they made the process easy for her despite requiring several injections, she felt minimum pain and recovered in no time! Thank you!

Not many people like to visit the dentist but Knighton Dental has that relaxed feel about it as soon as one enters the premises, the front desk staff are welcoming with a smile. I’ve had a few dentists there over the years but my current one Jenika is exceptional, very knowledgeable and keeps you feel at ease. Thank you Knighton Dental.

I usually see the same hygienist and I always request to have my appointments with them for a few years. However, during my recent visit, the hygienist was changed without any prior explanation. I completely understand if schedules need to be adjusted, but a quick note at the reception would have been very helpful. I had written down my usual hygienist as always, so it was a little confusing. When I mentioned this after the treatment, there was no apology or acknowledgement, which felt a bit disappointing. The cleaning itself was okay, but the communication could definitely be improved. I hope this can be addressed, as I generally like this clinic and would appreciate clearer communication in the future.

I’ve just finished my Invisalign journey (plus a bit of composite bonding) and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Amit & Evee were fantastic from start to finish! Always friendly, reassuring, and really took the time to make sure I was happy at every stage. I’m so pleased with my new smile and would 100% recommend them to anyone considering it!

I booked an appointment 1 month ago and was seen to immediately with no issue. This is bar far the best practice I have been to in my life. Bayleigh was a real joy to meet and she made my experience outstanding. That girl deserves a pay rise immediately. Shamillah was also fantastic and really looked after me as soon as I entered the premises. I will not be going anywhere else for as long as I am in Leicestershire... GREAT JOB KNIGHTON YOUR CLASS !

Your reception staff have been amazing getting me in fast when I needed a tooth checking. Both times I got in the same day. Whilst I feel the tooth is still not right I have to give 5 stars to the receptionists

Quite rubbish customer service for both NHS and non NHS patients. I'm a paying patient & two years ago I visited this dentist as regards having a few teeth reshaped. I was told they could be done after I had them straightened. I have completed the straightening (for which I went elsewhere) & came back to ask about reshaping. The receptionist at first told me they don't do reshaping, only composite fillings (which would make my teeth even larger which I don't want). I then asked her to check as the dentist told me he was happy to do it. She said she would check with him & call me. Guess what, she never did. So they have lost me as a customer just through this rubbish lack of contact. She also came across as disinterested when I spoke to her. There are plenty of other dentists in Leicester who do offer reshaping, thankfully, so I will go elsewhere in future for all my dental needs. Also the dentist I have chosen is simply out of this world in terms of customer service, surroundings (which are nothing short of luxurious!), and overall quality of care. I was treated so well it was unbelievable. I was blown away by the difference between that dentist & this one, where most staff come across as arrogant & unhelpful. Secondly my mum is an NHS patient. Today she was bullied into spending north of Β£10K on her teeth by a dentist here. When she said she was an NHS patient so why was the dentist pushing her to take out such expensive treatment, he simply said nothing. Pathetic and disgusting practice, especially when we're all going through a cost of living crisis. I despise this organisation & I will now ensure my mum finds a suitable alternative elsewhere. Please don't bother posting the typical canned reply asking me to contact the practice further, why would I in these circumstances? Disgraceful place. I strongly urge everyone to look elsewhere for a better dentist, believe me they do exist & only a few miles away.

The overall appointment was decent and the dentist was kind, however the issue is in regards of the price. Online the first appointment for new patients is 34, with a deposit of 15, which I did. After the visit they told us that the price for the visit was almost Β£70, because they did additional services during the appointment. You should tell the client what you are going to do and that the initial price on the website doesn’t cover all that will be done during the visit. How is the client suppose to know they are going to pay double of what the website says if the dentist do not specify it? During the visit the dentist just mentioned that he was going to do a complete visit, and my brother ofc thought it was covered in the pre-stabilised price.

Very difficult to get an appointment. When I did, it took so long that my cavity suddenly needed a root canal. This was bizarre in itself because even the dentist seemed unsure and kept expressing that it might be better instead of a filling even though it wasn't 100% clinically supported. I definitely felt pressured and there was a note of scaremongering. As a nervous patient, I felt obliged to go along. I can see why people have complained that the dentist is more focused on money grabbing and keen to force bigger treatments than required. Once the root canal was done they suggested a crown. The dentist was very rude, not explaining anything properly. Acted rushed and had an abrupt manner. No reassurance, no conversation. When he started mentioning the colour of the crown I said that I thought it was supposed to be white to which he scoffed and looked incredulous as though I was a fool. He was dismissive and said he will call me after checking with a colleague so I could make a further appointment. I was not contacted for months. When I did finally go back myself, lo and behold the tooth was now beyond a crown and needed removing. This isn't the first time I have had issues with crowns. My previous crown from here became infected underneath and when I went to another practise for an emergency appointment, they were shocked at how poorly the crown had been done. Knighton did not take any responsibility and didn't offer any resolution. It had to be removed and the tooth removed. Perhaps it is easier for them to perform a removal than offer anything else to fix the issue. Just a couple of examples from a catalogue of unprofessional treatment. Overall not a professional practice. I don't recommend.
