Cafe really poor. 25 min wait for food on a quiet Tuesday lunch time. Staff disinterested dreadful coffee. Not what it was. Store itself, long queues at checkout, only 2 open and long queues at self checkout. Time these supermarkets got rid of self checkout and put people back serving the public who's money they are keen to take. One star is kind
Cleaner left the floor wet withought putting up any wet floor sighns. Had attitude when I suggested for safety reasons he should put a sighn down when it is slippery as a customer could easily slip and fall.
Ordered via just eat Monday 11th August from this store complete wrong order was sent to my address. Spoke to Asda CS was told I’d get a refund in 48 hours, man on the phone actually asked if I could return the items to my local store even though I the customer ordered delivery for a reason. Rang the store Wednesday, was told I’d get a call back this didn’t happen, rang Thursday the online order systems were down, rang Friday was told the payment had been refunded and it may take a few working days to be back in my account- had to call 3 times. Asked if I don’t receive it what day should I call back was told Wednesday rang Wednesday was told it hadn’t been 5 working days yet, rang today still no refund. Absolute joke.
I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this ASDA on 11th June 2025 at around 7:55 PM. I went to purchase a bottle of wine and provided my valid ID when requested. Despite this, the staff member refused to sell it to me without giving a clear reason. I genuinely believe this was influenced by racial bias, as the staff member’s behaviour was unprofessional and dismissive. It felt like I was being unfairly targeted and disrespected, which no customer should have to experience. I’m deeply concerned by the lack of fairness and the poor treatment I received. I hope ASDA takes this seriously and investigates the matter to ensure all customers are treated with respect and equality, regardless of their background.
Based on my experience, I would advise against placing online orders through Just Eat or Uber Eats. The customer service for Asda - Leckwith Road is inefficient, and it often takes more than 45 minutes for the rider to collect the orders. Other Asda locations, like Asda Cardiff Bay, are much faster in comparison.
Lovely to see that the large watermelons are back in season. £4.50 each, hence a massive increase in priece, but worth every penny.
Easy parking and lots of space to get a large vehicle in. Just as you expect from asda this Superstore has it all. I needed a set of reasonable price spanners and they sold them to my surprise.
Not a good experience. Went in to grab some beers which the shelf signs noted as being on offer, including a big banner. Till does recognise the offer. Staff pleasant but clueless, trying to explain the offer only applies in England, then when I politely pointed out that the signs were up in their own store, going back to the shelf to see the signs I had seen and agreeing with me that they were rubbish. Did I get a beers on offer or an apology for the confusion? No. Come on Asda, you can do better.
Asda offer such a great choice of things at such competitive prices! I have bought toys, clothes food, footwear, things for the home, gifts... Every single experience has been a good one - I will use asda leckwitch again and again.
Customer services were dire. I used my blue light card and the lady at the checkout didn’t register it properly. I went to customer services and was told in a grumpy manner, tough as it’s cannot be changed. How was I supposed to know it didn’t go through until I had my receipt. No remorse or apologies. Never go back to this store which always has empty shelves. 23 sept at 4pm
