   Amazing experience, stayed here for a night and cant find a single flaw. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. I was upgraded to a room with a lovely view. The room was spotless clean, cozy and smelt really nice. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Halifax.the room comes with everything you need and even a mini fridge with all the essentials.

   What a lovely place to stay very relaxing weekend we stayed in the Hideaway was very clean and comfortable bed the breakfast was fabulous and tasty the Host's we're very welcoming and we will certainly be staying with them again on our next visit to Halifax thanks again Martyn and Elaine.

   Needing a nice place to stay while we attended a family event locally we opted for a couple of nights to make it a little bit of a mini break as well and really weren't disapointed by our choice of accomodation. the building clearly has a lot of history to it but has been respectfully modernisied to give all the currently desired comforts with pleanty of old world charm. The breakfast was very nice while i was a little unadventourus slecting the cooked breakfast two days in a row that was simply because it was so nice the first time around. that said seeing some of the other options coming out no matter what you choose you are not going to be disapointed.

   A fabulous nights stay in this stunning place. Hosts unbelievably warm and friendly to the point of upgrading our room as a birthday gift from them to my husband. Comfortable and tastefully decorated historic home. Superb views and to complete the stay one of the best full English breakfasts we have had.    Just back from our first visit to the area. Stayed in a double room at the front of the house with a beautiful view over to Shibden Hall. A very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Adele and her husband are friendly and laid back with their guests. The property has been beautifully decorated and the modern en suite was smart. Breakfast was delicious. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer more welcoming introduction to Halifax. We will be back.

   We stayed at Shibden Hall View on a Saturday and it was wonderful, the room was spacious, clean, well stocked and a pleasure to stay in. I hate to recommend places like this because we might struggle to get back in. All I can say is that Adele and Philip are lovely hosts and we would stay here again in a flash.

   Recently had a one night stay in this Lovely Bed and Breakfast accommodation. We stayed in the King room, which had a very comfortable 4 poster bed. Room was nicely decorated and very clean. The service was excellent. We were greeted by the owner, Philip,who was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Philip, was very informative about the surrounding areas, advising us on where best to have our evening meal. Breakfast was lovely, with a good selection and plenty to eat. Definitely recommend staying here.
