   Clean, comfortable and inexpensive. Staff frendly. Comfortable bed with small ensuite bath room. Only negative were the tiny squares of toilet paper? Must be the cheapest rolls available. Lifts to all floors. We booked end of corridor away from lifts. Staff friendly, 24hr reception. There is a general convinience store at ground level open 6.00am to 9.00pm. Free onsite parking. Opposite a Costa coffee shop and a pub the serves food and drink.

   For my friend's stag do, we stayed in the Travelodge and it was wonderful. Not just very good value for money, Kerry and the team were so helpful and friendly. They gave us tips on where to go in Huddersfield and helped with all our other questions. The rooms were exactly as needed and hosted all of us comfortably. And the location was great for getting to and from the city. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for looking after us!

   On arrival Kerry who was on duty at reception made us very welcome told us what we needed to know about our stay , Our room was very well presented clean and fresh smelling with towels provided. All in all a very positive experience and would definitely recommend and we would return to this Travel Lodge if visiting Huddersfield again. As there is a fantastic pub called the Yorkshire rose right next to the hotel.

   Service was impeccable. The 2 receptionists were lovely. Very customer focused. Hotel is difficult to find in the dark and set back from the main road - look for a drive through Costa- it is behind that! Could do with a road sign like you do with other tourist places. Close to town centre though so would recommend.

   Not quite hitting a 5* as the prices seem to have gone through the roof. Excellent Hotel, large comfy rooms and first class staff. Update: First time back for a few months as the pricing seems to be a bit more reasonable. Superb night's sleep as ever. Special mention to the young lady on reception until 10pm. What an absolute little ray of sunshine. So pleasant and always has a smile for everyone. A credit to Travelodge.

   Honestly worth every penny! The staff was so friendly and cheerful! The rooms was spotless and was perfect for a groom’s last night before marriage. The En-Suite was very clean and shower worked a treat with strong power and was easy enough to adjust the heat. I will definitely be using Travelodge again in the near future when travelling around the UK with my wife if it keeps up with this standard at these costs!

   This is a travelodge so you know what you're getting which is completely fine. The problem is the rooms look out onto the car park which has bright lights on all night. The curtains are too thin, so you can see this through them. The other issue was the heater in the room did not work. I would suggest paying the extra £10 and going for a premier inn.
