“We had a great stay at this hotel. Tidy, clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfy beds, and a large breakfast area staffed by a cheerful lady. The cooked breakfast was very nice. You can also choose continental options.”

“Only complaint was very hot in room but they can't control the weather. They did however supply a desk fan. Place very clean and tidy.”

“Ideal location off the motor way . Staff very helpful and friendly The rooms were cosy,warm and clean The food in the restaurant was excellent. I ordered a Caesar salad which actual had anchovies in it (as it should have ) It’s not often you get that so I was impressed . Would definitely recommend and stay again .”

“I was attending a wedding and traveled from london so i booked plover cottage as it was near the venue. It is a great place to stay and very clean. The host are friendly and great with communication. I was also able to park right outside the property which was very convenient. Theres also a supermarket and many shops nearby. Overall its a great place and would highly recommend.”

“Our first visit was 21 years ago! Now, recently, we have been twice more. It has changed and now has accomodation, but i have not stayed over so cannot comment. Our recent meal experience was very good on both occasions. Food was cooked and well presented and service was attentive. Very good all around.”

“Location was perfect, 5 mins drive from Hudderfield Private Hospital. Hotel and room very clean and well equipped. The staff, especially Maggie and Sarah were delightful. Very friendly and professional. We had received some unsettling news and needed to get off some urgent emails. They assisted and were extremely helpful and empathetic. Housekeeping were ace too and slipped a courtesy note under our door, would we like our room xleaned, we had forfotten to pop the Do not disturb sign on the door. Ibraham was in attendance behind the bar and he too was a joy. We are returning to the area in the very near future and without doubt this is where we will choose to stay. Entirely exceeded our expectations.”

“Me and my husband went here for 1 night for his 30th birthday and it was amazing. The staff decorated the room with birthday balloons and banners which made his birthday extra special. The staff were lovely and very polite. The stay suite was beautiful in every single way, the shower was amazing and the bath was very lovely. I would be staying here again.”

“The place is misunderstood as there isn’t much staff on site. For the price you cannot beat it. Bed was comfortable. Room was a good temperature. If you have just a slight bit of patience for the check in, it will pay off with comfort and value”
