They repeatedly lied to my face claiming they dint do refferals for CMHT to the point I had to phone CMHT and give them thr phone so they could talk to CMHT, who called them out on their lies and forced them to reffer me. This has happened at least twice, despite their knowledge of my history of self harm and suicidal attempts. I shouldnt have to beg my GP with blood dripping down my arms for a refferal to CMHT. This GP is an absolute disgrace and has actively caused me to try to kill myself on numerous occasions. Do not come here if you have any mental health struggled, they will become the main source of your stress and pain due to systematic medical gaslighted and abuse.

I’m really disappointed with the attitude of some of the reception staff at this practice. It has become increasingly obvious that certain patients particularly people of colour, those with accents, or those who are of a certain religion are being discriminated against, are treated with noticeably less patience and respect. I recently overheard my father making an appointment, and he was spoken to very rudely simply because he has an accent and was trying to clarify details by repeating them. Instead of showing basic courtesy, the receptionist became visibly irritated and dismissive over something completely harmless. This isn’t the first time I’ve witnessed similar behaviour. Receptionists should be able to communicate respectfully with all patients, regardless of their background. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity when accessing healthcare. I strongly feel that this practice needs to review the behaviour and training of its front-desk staff, and ensure that they employ people who can treat patients with professionalism and humanity.

Whilst in a nearby cafe, a young lady become seriously unwell and collapsed she was with her baby. The staff and patrons in the cafe were exceptional, trying to help the women and comforting the baby, and ambulance was rung with an estimated wait time of 50 minutes, the women was now unconscious. I went on foot to this surgery, to ask for assistance, the receptionist spoke on the phone to the 'duty doctor', they refused to help, despite being less than a minutes walk away. I don't know the rules that govern a GP's practice, but in a situation that is potentially a matter of life and death, you may thought they would have done something, it is shocking and sick making, where is the humanity.. Subsequently I found a young lady wearing scrubs on a bus stop, she told me she was a student nurse, she promptly rushed to the scene, as did a local pharmacist. Maybe the ' duty doctor' should closely examine their life choices

The male receptionist at this practice consistently shows unprofessional behaviour. While he is polite and helpful towards some patients, he is dismissive and condescending towards Muslims and those with non-British accent. This selective and discriminatory attitude is unacceptable in a healthcare setting, where every patient deserves respect and support. Such behaviour risks damaging the reputation of the practice and adds unnecessary stress to people who may already be struggling with their health.

I was very disappointed with the treatment I received at this practice. During my first visit, I noticed the receptionist was polite and helpful towards some patients, but dismissive and rude towards others, particularly those who were Muslim or spoke with a non-British accent. He frequently huffed, raised his voice, and even repeated patients’ medical conditions loudly in front of others, which felt like a serious breach of confidentiality. Patients should be treated equally, with respect and privacy. Unfortunately, this was not my experience, and I felt the conduct was unprofessional and inappropriate for a patient-facing role.

The receptionists have always been very kind and helpful. The doctors consistently make time to see my young son whenever we have any concerns, no matter how big or small.

Ah this place never fails to disappoint. Im sure there are zero requirements to be hired as a receptionist here, if anything they must be hired specifically for their lack of professionalism and lack of people skills, as there is no way you manage to hire that many bad receptionists unless its intentional at this point. If you are looking for a surgery, avoid this place...if you are registered here, leave before you have a health issue as they will be sure to make that worse for you. Google, the need for zero stars is strong for this one.

I am giving 2 stars purely because once you get to a doctor they are great. However...reception staff are a joke both in attitude and ability. Often just outright rude they do the entire practice a disservice. So disappointing that these people cannot be brought in to the 21st century. If I was given the choice I would not register here again.

Every time I ring at 8:30am I get through about quarter too 9 and they tell me no appointments ring tomorrow, this has happened on many occasions in this practice. I’ve never had a practice like it! and I’ve been to a fair few due to moving. I suffer with anxiety and depression anyways and the receptionist don’t show no remorse they just seem to want to get through the busy morning period that every doctors have it’s a joke. They told me I had 3 bloods done and one they need to talk about but yet no one can give me a call for peace of mind and now my head will be going in circles for the weekend or untill they can see me, I know it can’t be urgent because they would see me straight away but it’s hard to trust doctors and other people with your problems when you are the one going through it and have had on going issues really badly the last 6-8 months. There has to be a better system for this practice some one needs to pull there finger out here I’m telling you that for sure. I honestly haven’t been to a practice that operates this way and to the people on reception I know your only doing your job, but actually take the time to listen to patients it could save there life and don’t think you know it all because you definitely do not know there body or mind, thanks!
