In general an excellent friendly local Chemist... but stars deducted as they have been lying to customers since last summer, telling them codeine linctus is now prescription only and they need to see a doctor for it (which is even more bother than usual with COVID.) In reality it is still available to buy from at least three other chemists in and around Keighley, but this establishment is BANNED from selling it along with 20 other chemists across England, because government inspectors decided they were doing so too much. NB- I do NOT support the ban or the 'targeted crackdown', I consider it another unfair government attack on traditional independent pharmacy after funding cuts and COVID, but I do expect the places subject to it to be honest with their customers- some of whom are elderly and have been using the same cough medicine since World War II or not long after.
