   Called in at this hotel for light refreshment. Left the M5 to enjoy a quieter stop rather than a noisy service station. Have stopped before at this hotel because of the lovely views from the sitting area. Although the bar wasn't open the kind receptionist said she could make us a pot of tea and coffee which we enjoyed. Made use of the ground floor ladies toilet and were able to park in the disabled spot designated outside of the hotel. Have booked to stay here with my 3 adult daughters in November so will be able write a further review then.

   The hotel itself definitely requires some tlc and the lift, which I believe is to be updated 2023. The hotel is not that close to other amenities. But it has a lovely terrace at the back of the hotel, which also offers a lovely walk along by the sea. The main thing about this hotel is Janet, the manager and her marvellous staff, David, Simon, and the lovely and unforgettable Lee. They are brilliant and make your stay with them memorable. Also, the food and the service are first class. If you enjoy a walk then this is the hotel for you.

   Excellent greeting at reception. Arranged my special request on arrival no problem. Required a ground floor room and it's lovely with Seaview. Bus outside into town centre if you can't walk far. Above a cafe on the seafront and RNLI shop very close. Entertainment was excellent suitable for all ages. Food was tasty. A really enjoyable stay. As with all Alfa hotels coffee in rooms is Maxwell House and weak. So bring your own coffee if you like it stronger.

   Friendly staff, good food, entertainment ok if you like bingo and singers. Rooms are a bit dated but clean, fantastic mattresses. Beautiful sea view from the lounge, and some of the rooms. Very very close to the sea!

   Nice hotel, very nice sea view (room 207). Staff were nice and friendly. The shower wasn't the worst I've had !! Bar prices were reasonable. Two car parks nearby within 5 minutes walk at £6 per 24 hours. It does have a very nice terraced area, which does look underused.
