I have never had a bad experience at this pharmacy. I was seen today by a lovely lady in the consultation room who helped me with an ongoing sinus problem and sorted me some antibiotics, all the staff I’ve encountered here are very kind and helpful. I have seen poor reviews about the ques however any time I have had to que it has gone down fast and medication is given within 10/15 minutes.

I’ve been using this pharmacy for some time now, and unfortunately, my experience has been increasingly frustrating. While the staff are polite in person, the overall management of prescriptions leaves much to be desired. Prescriptions are often delayed, sometimes for weeks, even when they’ve been sent by GP timely. I’ve had to repeatedly chase them up, making multiple requests before anything is ready and stand in a long queue often. This is not only inconvenient but also stressful when medication is important for my health. The SMS alert service—which is supposed to notify you when prescriptions are ready—simply doesn’t work reliably. On several occasions, I’ve received no text at all, meaning I either waste trips or end up waiting longer than necessary. I understand that mistakes happen, and I know pharmacies are busy, but these issues have been ongoing for far too long. A better system for tracking prescriptions, improved communication, and a functioning alert service would make a huge difference. Until these problems are addressed, I can’t recommend this pharmacy for anyone who depends on timely and efficient prescription handling.

The lady behind the till does her best (believe it's Cathy?) she is running around serving but I can only echo other reviews that other staff aren't. Chit chatting about their personal lives whilst the queue regularly starts outside of the shop. If you are looking to drop off/pick up a prescription or even purchase cold medicine make sure you allocate at least half hour to and hour of waiting time! You will not get your errand completed in a lunch break!

I left well pharmacy today totally unsurprised by all of the negative reviews, no improvements or staff training in customer care have been made in response complaints. Once again Cathy was the only member of staff actually doing any work whilst the others simply watch her going above and beyond her job description. I only went to the pharmacy to drop off some out of date meds there was no queue for a change and i had my emotional support dog with me (not all disabilities are visible although it can be clearly seen by my hearing aids and speech that I have extremely poor hearing). I stood by the doors and asked if i could drop off some out of date meds as i know that animals are not permitted in the building, was ignored by everyone everyone except Cathy who was busy doing their jobs for them as usual (the old adage of if you are conscientious and good at your job then the only reward is the more you are expected to do comes to mind) Cathy accepted the meds then someone from behind the counter without a name tag and dressed in her own clothes came out and was extremely rude to me it's funny how people only show themselves after the job is done full of self importance. This is a customer care service and i suggest that if this person wants to bark orders at people and behave like a 1960’s boys grammar school headmaster then she retrain as an army drill sergeant. The 1 Star is awarded simply because of the work ethic of Cathy and the excellent Adam who delivers the medication, always friendly, diligent, empathic and does not stop working all day long.

Very poor service. Staff are more interested in talking about holidays and whatever else than actually processing prescriptions for people. I have been using the pharmacy for some years and have now given up trying there after becoming so frustrated after each visit. There needs to be a root and branch overhaul of this pharmacy as there are too many staff being idle and prescriptions take a very long time to be completed.

Still waiting for my mum's medication which was supposed to be delivered on Friday.. now they will not answer the phone. I have rang them 9 times this afternoon and now they are just about to close. I suppose I will have to try again tomorrow. My mum suffers with epilepsy, high blood pressure and depression so this is medication she needs. Not acceptable!!

Very poor service. 1st time I went in, they gave me the wrong prescription. 2nd time I went in, I was told that I would have to wait 5-10 minutes and ended up waiting 30 minutes. Doesn’t even look like their under staffed with the amount of them behind the desk. Despite the convenience of being right next to my GP, I will save my time and go elsewhere
