My grandson has swimming lessons here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Classes are really good. My grandson is 10months and is making huge progress in the water. It is amazing that at such a young age he is confident in the water and learning safety in the water.
Membership was overpriced and trying to cancel was not straightforward either. Senior Reception staff were extremely unhelpful in this matter. The pool also often felt overcrowded after work. Would strongly recommend against joining. If you work at UHW like I did, there are better options available locally with more respectful staff.
Even after taking a full membership of 40 pound including badminton we need to pay 4.50 pound extra for one hour for the badminton if we need to play after 4 0 clock. I don't understand what kind of rule is this , then do we take the membership
I have swim classes with my baby here which are fantastic. BUT parking is a nightmare! Place needs investment in updating. Could do with electric doors as difficult to access with a pram.
Yoga 5pm Thursday was very good, and only 3 people.
Friendly and helpful staff in reception, didn't use the facilities as came for blood donation session in main hall.
Excellent facility for NHS staff, contractors, and the general public alike, with great facilities and a friendly atmosphere.
The access to the function room was limited and so to get from the function room you have to go through the hall into the bar and then into the function room. Wasn't a nice place to be honest.
If I could give this place a no star review then I would, These guys only let you book via their telephone booking, however since December their phone either doesn't answer or goes straight to answer machine. I paid for three months and only got two months because I couldn't book. Gym is outdated anyway I recommend joining Pure gym or just literally any other gym because this one will probably give you the risk of catching tetanus from how old all the machines are
