We take the dog and the cat here. Having tried several other (chain) vets, Richmond Vets are so much better. They never try to sell me pet insurance I don't want or extra tests the pets don't need or any of that nonsense you get at the chain vets.
Should be more than 5 stars - the vets here are experienced and seem to know what's wrong with an animal just from looking at them - I've brought 2 pets here so far. The vets also spend the time to inform you of conditions, medications etc - it's a really personal feel to this place.
I have been a customer for 43 years! During that time the team members have been unfailingly kind, supportive and efficient in their approach. I could not recommend the practice highly enough.
A brilliant vets. Flexible, dedicated and caring. We lost our dog just before Christmas and the care up to the very end was personal, sensitive and committed. Through the happy years of check ups and good health they were excellent and attentive, then at the hardest point of pet ownership they went up another gear in looking after our dog (and us). It feels like a business run by people who care about their customers and the animals. The follow up was incredibly touching and everything done with love and dignity. Fully recommend.

We came to Richmond Vets for a second opinion from our local vet in Isleworth, and we got exceptional advice and we'll never go back to Isleworth again! I've lost count of the amount of people I've recommended to Richmond vets, and will continue to do so. The staff never change, the vet's are exceptional, my dog wouldn't even walk on the same side of the road as the other vets, and now she doesn't mind going at all, the difference is night and day.. We love Richmond Vets, and I hope you read this review and end up experiencing the same love and attention that we have.
I remember coming to Richmond Vets in the 80s! Really nice that I can bring my two cats to the practice. Very helpful and reassuring staff, and reasonably priced too.
Richmond Vets have literally saved our dog's life a number of times. They provided fantastic emergency care in a crisis, and we'll always owe them a debt of gratitude for giving us six (and counting) more years with our beloved Jack Russell, Hector. When Hector had to have his spleen removed a couple of years ago, they looked after him incredibly well from start to finish. When we went to pick him up, he was being cuddled in a blanket by one of the vet nurses. You can tell that the entire team really care about the animals they see, as well as the family members who are worrying for them. Importantly, the advice we've received has always been practical and realistic - something that really matters when your pet is unwell and emotions are running high. Fantastic team, lovely premises, and great location. I cannot recommend Richmond Vets highly enough.
