Took my puppy here for her first vaccination. The reception staff were so friendly and the vet was so informative and gentle with her. Was worried it wouldn’t be a nice experience for my puppy but she seemed to enjoy herself and all her treats!
I’ve been with Shearbridge now since 2018 and they’ve been fantastic. When I had to have my lovely dog put to sleep the care I received that morning is something I’ll never forget. We are now back with our lovely but large pup Murphy and he’s always looked after so well.
We took our cat Sally for her annual injection. The staff in reception were polite and friendly. The vet who treated Sally was kind, gentle and very reassuring. We have used Shearbridge vets for many years and have always found them to be excellent in their care of our cats and of care and concern for us as owners.
We have used Shearbridge Vets for over 20 years with various pets. They’re always caring, compassionate, doing the best for the animal and discussing the issues realistically. They’re give you the pros and cons of each procedure and test, advising on what is best for the animal while also considering the cost - which is unfortunately a factor we all have to consider. This company only want to do what’s best for pets and their families, they have never advised a test “just because” for profit, only for the animal’s benefit. I trust and recommend these vets to anyone who is interested / needs a vet. Whether it’s a check over or an emergency they’ve always been 100%, and we have had a couple of emergencies - including a house fire where the pets involved needed an urgent check up and were seen almost immediately. Thanks Shearbridge, I’ll be back next week!
Excellent Vets. I have been visiting this practice with my 2 dogs for 15 years and would highly recommend them. Unfortunately my eldest dog passed a few weeks ago but the care we had from the reception staff, nurses and vets has been amazing. I found somewhere that doesn’t just treat your poorly companion but sympathises, listens and truly cares and for that I will be forever grateful. In memory of my beautiful boy Marley ❤️
We have used this veterinary practice since the 70's ! We have had many pets over the years but their service has never changed! Always professional, accommodating, and friendly. When the awful day arrives when you have to lose a dear pet they are the best. I wouldn't use anyone else.
This surgery has looked after our dogs, cats and guinea pigs for the last 40 years. In latter years we have only had dogs and every vet without exception has been exceptionally great at looking after them. Our dogs seem prone to eating the wrong things and we have on two occasions arrived after hours, the dogs have been looked after and sent to over night care, well they were equally well looked after. I would recommend them to anyone. They are the best, professional in their knowledge and treatment, caring and and communicative with the clients, canine or human!
Receptionists and vets are always welcoming,helpful and friendly.i have attended this surgery for many years with different pets and have always found reassurance,and help from everyone concerned,most especially when the occasion has been a sad one. The only concern I have is with the cost of attending the surgery,and for the many people who won't be able to afford an appointment,but this is a problem for all practices,not just Queensbury.
Always helpful and polite. My dog has been through a few bad times with his ailments and hasn’t always been happy when attending his appointments, but he has been looked after and cared for and is still with us today. Thank you for a brilliant service 5*
