   Lavish facility and lovely staff. The gym is nice and quiet majority of the time and they have a sauna within close proximity too which is ideal for recovery. They clearly prioritise safety and water cleanliness too as I’ve noticed the staff would routinely perform pool and jacuzzi water tests. The manager Sebastian is also very professional and always happy to help when needed. The only downside is that the steam room has been out of order for over a month now and is used as a storage room for all the inflatables. Aside from that, I’d highly recommend.

   I left my 11 and 12 year old children in the pool for five minutes to text my husband that we’re leaving soon and an extremely rude staff called Nicole approached me with an angry face and told me off for leaving my kids alone in the pool. She perhaps had a point but the level of rudeness and unprofessionalism shocked me and scared me. I’m certainly not going there again after this disgraceful manner.

   The pool was freezing cold. Not sure if it’s because there was a problem or what but not the greatest experience. I was a bit worried about the lockers as they didn’t provide padlock or anything. The place is a bit small and if there are a lot of people you can’t enjoy much.

   All things considered, this is one of the best health clubs in Cardiff and probably the best value. It doesn’t have that feel of luxury, one may expect from a spa, due to neglected maintenance. Not huge things but little things do matter eg water fountain in female changing room has not worked for a couple of years, shower doors don’t lock or even close properly, there are only a few loungers which are always reserved with towels, this selfish behaviour is never challenged etc. It is such a shame because it wouldn’t take too much to make it lovely. Quite sad really!

   I have recently joined this health club and have been impressed so far. I really enjoy the warm friendly atmosphere, the staff are efficient and keen to help. The facilities are spotlessly clean and well maintained with a decent sized swimming pool. I’m enjoying my visits and so glad I chose this club in the centre of Cardiff.

   Cancelled my membership here. The place is often dirty - dust on lights, showers dirty. The locker room lockers hardly work and most of the doors are falling off. Shower doors are often missing. I used to go swimming around 8 pm and witnessed staff dunking a bucket into the pool in order to wash down the area around the pool - absolutely disgusting especially when your actually in the pool! The gym is small but ok, and the pool is nice enough. Overall for a Hilton hotel it does not meet the standards you would expect.
