Visited The Railway for a meal last night and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The service was amazing from start to finish – friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. I ordered the pie, which was incredible – full of tender meat and packed with flavour. Highly recommend it if you're visiting! The pub has a warm, cosy, and relaxing atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind. The location is brilliant too, right in the heart of Skipton. The staff were amazing throughout – can’t fault a thing. I’ll definitely be returning. A hidden gem in town!
Had a great overnight stay here while on a golfing weekend away with our golf society. The single room was very good for a one night stay and the location was superb for the local nightlife. The full English breakfast with poached eggs and a pot of tea was superb and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
Hidden gem, the food was really very good. I had spring rolls to start and chicken tagliatelle for the main, absolutely delicious. We went with a group of 8 people. The service wasn't the fastest but well worth the short wait
Came on Sunday night. Definitely worth booking to avoid disappointment. Good selection of drinks and varied menus. The pies were excellent and the smaller portions very welcome so we could enjoy starters and mains. Even though busy everyone was friendly and attentive. Recommended
Just come back from a week walking around the Skipton area. Having visited on two occasions the previous year and thoroughly enjoyed our time, we elected to go back this year. Again, the service, the food and the drink all exceptional. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. You may be advised to book as they are often busy.
Perfection - my parents loved their beer battered fish and chips and my vegetarian lasagna was also delicious. Added bonus is that a lot of the meals come with the option to order as a smaller portion for a lower price (something which every establishment should offer in my opinion!). The service was really friendly and attentive. Honestly one of the nicest pub meals I've ever had.
