   I can’t thank Carys, Claire, and the whole team at Avonvale Vets enough for the care they’ve given my horse over what has been an incredibly challenging 6 months. From supporting us through my horses fracture to dealing with various (very stressful!) self-inflicted injuries afterwards, they have been absolutely outstanding throughout. Every single person - from the reception team to the vets themselves - has been so kind, patient, and reassuring. They always took the time to explain everything clearly, never rushed decisions, and were always at the end of the phone whenever I needed advice or reassurance. Their professionalism, compassion, and genuine care for both horse and owner truly stood out. You never really know how good your vets are until you really need them… and this year I’ve found out just how exceptional Avonvale Vets are. I’m incredibly grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone! THANK YOU AVONVALE!!

   Whilst the vetting was thorough and fine. The vet who came out, was quite rude. Very blunt, didn’t really speak and made the whole event quite uncomfortable and nerve wracking for myself, and the horses seller. The job was done at the end of the day, but customer service in person wasn’t great. Can’t fault the reception team though. I am not local so had numerous phone calls with them, and they were friendly, helpful and informative each time. However, after the vetting, payment was taken prior to an invoice being sent. I was expecting an invoice first.

   Would highly recommend all of the team at Avonvale - they have looked after our equine family for over 20 years now. Claire is exceptional with both our competition ponies, and our elderly retired ones - she is pragmatic, supportive and hugely responsive. Not afraid of the difficult conversations, which she handles with equal amounts of sensitivity and pratical advice. I completly trust her and her team to do the best for our ponies - as well as hugley knowledgeable and current, they are transparent, honest and always available. Thank you

   Very professional, kind and caring. Always willing to listen to your concerns and take a genuine interest. Very reassuring and explains conditions and treatment clearly. Avonvale truly care about the welfare of my horse. They always show empathy and compassion and their service is outstanding and I cannot recommend them highly enough, I would not use anyone else.

   I can't possibly explain in less than 10,000 words how incredible Avonvale Equine Vets are. They got my very quirky mare back on track when I had spent 2 years with 2 other vet practices wasting a lot of time and money and with no results. Claire and Naomi were absolutely incredible, they are extremely knowledgeable but at the same time, down to earth and friendly. And happy to work within my budget ! I then moved away but for anything other than standard vaccines I would drive the horses back up to Avonvale as the service I received is absolutely faultless and I didn't want to lose that. Having then moved abroad I could no longer just drive them over, but for the odd puzzling thing I still kept in touch to ask their advice. Happily now back in the area and my darling horses are back to testing out the vets knowledge and I am overwhelmingly happy to be back within their area. This time round we have been testing out Laura's dental expertise, which is certainly impressive! The most incredible vet practice I have ever used. Friendly, incredibly experienced, and so well organised and practical. Have kept several horses on the road for me over the years and there really aren't enough good things I can say. Phenomenal vets and they genuinely care about each and every horse they deal with. Every single vet there has a genuine love and passion for the industry and it is clear to see. Would give 10 stars if I could!!

   This is quite simply one of the easiest reviews I have ever done! Avonvale equine practice are simply the best vets around! Always super friendly and helpful and I cannot thank them enough for the care they have given to my girls Annie and Amazon over the years, from routine visits, to dental care from the superb Laura!    I have been using Avonvale since 2016, unfortunately my two horses have given me cause to work with all the lovely people at Avonvale many times over the years beyond routine visits! Every single member of the team have always been fantastic, kind and empathetic in understandably emotive times. Every time my horses have had to stay at their base (around 10 times) I have been kept very well updated throughout. Both my horses have undergone multiple scopes, work ups, surgeries and routine visits and it has always been professionally handled and reliable. Thank you all for all you've done for us.
