   My wife and I were fortunate enough to dine at Lake Isle on New Year’s Eve, and from start to finish the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the level of professionalism and genuine hospitality set the tone for the evening. The front-of-house team were outstanding, and particular credit must go to the two brothers who run the room so effortlessly — attentive, knowledgeable, warm and perfectly judged throughout the service. The food itself was superb. Every course showcased the quality of the produce and the care taken in its preparation, beautifully cooked and presented without pretence. It was clear that nothing was rushed and no detail overlooked. Five-star service, five-star food, and a restaurant that truly understands how to deliver a complete dining experience. We genuinely could not fault a single aspect of the evening and would wholeheartedly recommend Lake Isle to anyone looking for something special. We will most certainly be returning.

   What a wonderful Christmas lunch we had. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and the staff were both professional as well as friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the whole experience which was what we had hoped for after having an excellent meal at the restaurant in the summer.

   Visited Lake Isle yesterday for impromptu lunch with my father. A beautiful little restaurant in the centre of Uppingham. From arrival, we were greeted with professionalism. The set lunch menu offers great value for money & really well cooked food. We both enjoyed our starters & pork loin mains. All in all, a visit I’d like to repeat in the future. Well done to all involved.

   Probably one of the most delicious dinners I have had in ages, fantastic well thought out menu, beautifully presented and great service. If I lived closer I'd visit every week! Didn't rate the rooms as didn't stay but based on our experience I'm sure they are wonderful.

   Rooms were incredible, bathroom especially. The bed was super comfy so much i tried to see where the mattress was from. Bath & shower both huge, only criticism was shower was not very powerful & for such a huge shower it was a shame. The food at the restaurant was absolutely superb. Location was good to get to Rutland Water but not much else around in terms of shops etc.
