I stayed in room 606 on Friday 5th December 2025. I arrived late. The night staff were very nice, polite and informative and the morning staff were equally as gracious. The room was very clean and tidy, a bit chilly but soon warmed up after I turned the heating up. Breakfast was vast and delicious and the cafe was clean and tidy. Parking was free, as long as you key in your reg. If you arrive late remember to key in for 2 days if staying for 1 night. I would recommend the stay.

Hotel was OK, served our needs for an overnight stay. However, be aware re the parking. We put in our registration at reception for the two stay stay as instructed. We left the car park briefly for a few mins during our stay and then left permanently just before check out. A few days after getting home received a charge notice for the second period. Appeal failed - these parking companies are a bunch of........

Booked this hotel at part of a work training course for 2 nights. The Location is decent near the M1. There is a decent amount of parking that uses anpr. You have to put in your reg at the reception desk. Rooms are quite basic includes a small wall mounted TV 2 chairs and a kettle. There is not fridges in the rooms and the hand wash dispenser was empty in the bathroom. On the 2nd night an alarm went off at 5am, when I asked what it was in the morning the receptionist waffled on but avoided answering. I don't know if it was a fire alarm or a wake up alarm that can be requested. Also due to its location you get allot of road traffic noise. I Wouldnt book here again

Room 201 small Dirty, wet towels outside the window. Could easily be removed with a pole, but the staff said it is too difficult. The bedding was disgusting. Mattress protector was upside down, presumably so that guests would not see urine and possibly blood stains, absolutly grim. 105 Family room a good size. But the window did not close tight so all night we could hear the traffic outside. Next to no sleep. Dirty walls and corners, and a dirty bin, no attention to detail. Dirty seats at breakfast. We do not recommend. Free parking. Subway, toby and a pizza place available in the same building.

The hotel is in a convenient location, but lots of traffic during the day. The room was on the small size but adequate for one person for a short stay - they did remove the duvet from its cover - nice touch considering the hot weather. There are the usual suspects of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby which makes things fast and easy.

Great hotel which caters for everone. My accessible room made my stay easy. Free parking. Lovely clean good size rooms with comfy beds & TV. Can't speak highly enough about Jamie and his team. So friendly, kind & helpful. They really looked after me, nothing was too much trouble. I've stayed here a few times & am never disappointed. My first & only choice when staying in the area. Highly recommended β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†

Good location. Easy to find. Just off my Clean rooms average size. Lifts and free parking next to a Toby. Comfy beds and clean towels. A nice welcome by friendly staff. Out of the 2 travelodges in Hemel hempstead this is the better one.

Room was dirty, no cleaning during my 3 nights stay. Bad was big, but so uncomfortable, that I couldn't sleep at all. Shower had problem with hot water, at one moment you get just cold water and no chance to adjust it. Breakfast was very poor, same every day. Every morning I need to prove that my breakfast was paid with reservation. They didn't clean ice on parking lot and at the hotel entrance.

Could have been so much better! Hotel hired by my work for us to stay in while we carried out work in the area, I paid out my own pocket for a late check out on the last day to get some more sleep before a long drive home, only to be woken by housekeeping knocking on the door like the energizer bunny 'Housekeeping housekeeping', once i had checked out, seems i wasn't the only one, EVERY SINGLE person that i worked with had all had the same idea of late check out, and all had been woken up! Why, just why?! Rooms are simple and, is what is is, but looking tired now, and my sink was blocked, asked for it to be cleared, which is was...... to a degree, not a massive improvement at all, took an age to empty/drain, TV remote only worked on certain buttons I've read through some of the previous reviews and agree with almost every point and can confirm they are accurate. But, it was a room, a bed, and a short stay. Be prepared for the road noise sometimes, and the Toby carvery on the ground floor can get really busy, nice food there

Rooms very small. Bed very uncomfortable, sinks in the middle with very hard metal bars around the edges! Bathroom very cramped, when you’re reaching for the toilet paper you’re flushing the toilet with your elbow! Don’t expect to get much sleep due to the very busy road outside and the rubbish windows. Cleaning staff could do with a better hoover, floors covered in hairs! Breakfast basic and cold.
