I would definitely recommend Chelmsford Bunny Lodge. The prices are reasonable, booking process straightforward and drop off/pick up went very smoothly. We were able to enjoy a stress free weekend away knowing our guinea pigs were in good hands and they have come home happy and well cared for. Thank you!
This was our rabbits’ second stay at Chelmsford Bunny Lodge and once again, we couldn’t be happier. The booking process is incredibly quick and easy, which takes so much stress out of going away. We always really value the updates while we’re gone — it’s lovely to see how they’re getting on, and it’s clear they’re well looked after and content. In fact, we often joke that they look a bit disappointed to be coming home — a real testament to the care and attention they receive! Even just from the brief interactions we have at drop-off and pick-up, it’s obvious the team genuinely gets to know and care about each rabbit during their stay. The cost is also very reasonable and great value for money, especially given the level of care and peace of mind you get in return. We would highly, highly recommend Chelmsford Bunny Lodge, and regularly do, whether it’s to our local pet store or the vets. It’s such a reassuring feeling to know your bunnies are in safe, knowledgeable hands while you’re away.
A bit late leaving this review but we left our rabbit here for the first time august last year. My daughter was very worried about leaving him as he is an indoor bunny but when booking online you can choose indoor/outdoor accommodation which made her feel better, also leaving information on dislikes, diet etc. Easy drop off and collection, lovely lady to greet us. Lovely to receive updates and photos to see online while your away too. Would highly recommend.

Excellent boarding facilities. Lou is extremely knowledgeable and highly experienced in small animal care. She is a reliable and conscientious individual that will go above and beyond. Highly recommended!!
First time we left our guinea pigs with someone who was not family or friend. So was a little nervous. However we were warmly greeted, was allowed to view the lodgings and see how happy the bunnies were. The set up is bespoke and is fantastic for the purpose. The lady noted all of the boys likes and dislikes to make their stay more enjoyable. While on holiday we received daily updates of the boys "adventures" of the day including a new picture. Such a beautiful touch. When we returned to collect the boys the lady was able to explain each of their different personalities to a tee. We instantly knew she had spent time with each of them and really took an interest into their quirky ways. We can't recommend chelmsford Bunny lodge highly enough. 100% professional as well as being warm and friendly. Our guineas had their own 5* holiday experience when while we were away. Totally perfect! Thank you so much for making those special extra efforts your standard practice.
We left our two bunnies with this lovely lady for just over a week, she's clearly a big fan of rabbits and cares a great deal for the animals she's looking after. Prices are very reasonable and you can even get a webcam to check in on them whilst you're away! Will definitely be using the Bunny Lodge again, thanks for taking such good care and for the extra rabbit tips when we picked them up!
