Jill is a lovely person who is very welcoming and always has a smile on her face. The room was fantastic and so peaceful. The bathroom was extremely clean and the shower is lovely and hot. The gardens are a delight to look at, even in winter. I would highly recommend staying at Chart House in Dorking.

Jill is lovely and thoughtful. The accommodation was comfortable and very clean. The grounds are quiet with spectacular scenery and alpacas and chickens! It is a very quick walk to the high street in Dorking. Overall, I would highly recommend it!
From arriving and being greeted by what I must say if the most unprofessional greeting to date from any Accommodation, despite being there with in the time slot I mentioned I was led to feel my staying was a huge burden! The owner made me from the start feel most unwelcome and said that she was disappointed my phone just rang (I was driving) as she was waiting to go out and I was delaying this! I was given a room at the front of the property, no time was invested in to showing me the facilities. The place in dated, the room I had was tiny, and filthy, the 10 inch tv hidden in the cupboard didnt work, A security light clicked audibly on and off all night and Shone brightly through the window. The is ONLY shared facilities at this B and B and the sound of guests to and throw form the bathroom all evening and night make it impossible to sleep. For the cost of staying here if you want a better stay, I would say the local travel lodge would be a better option at least you have a clean room and a bathroom you can use in the night with out getting fully dressed to get there..
Gorgeous house, beautiful garden, and the alpacas are really cool. Short walk into town and 20 min walk and you're in the Surrey Hills. Perfect location and great service overall.
