Had a great evening full of delicious food and friendly staff. The atmosphere was perfect and the festive menu had a lot of amazing food to offer. Will definitely be returning for meals out with family and friends!
I really like this place. The pub and restaurant are cozy and they had fires going for the cold weather. I think it's the best hotel in the area and very reasonably priced. The food is delicious with a lot of options and they currently have the festive menu going on. It's a short walk to downtown old Harlow. Only nag would be the internet reliability and speed, but I'm told they're working on fixing it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Don't forget to ask for the CAMRA discount if you're a member and drinking cask ale!
I walked into the reception area this afternoon to book in, and I was automatically greeted in such a fantastic manner by Janna. She was kind, friendly and extremely helpful. Then I went to my room, and all I can say is wow!! This has completely exceeded my expectations. I am blown away
Checked in to a wonderful room, with everything you could possibly need. Had a wonderful meal. We were met by a lovely young lady Janna on reception. What a credit to the business. She could not do enough to make our stay a memorable one. Thank you Janna and team.
For me, pretty much the best place to stay in Harlow, and I've tried most. Hotel accommodation is excellent, modern and clean. Eaten here twice, food is good. Service on the first occasion was decidedly poor, with staff more interested in preparing for breakfast than attending to customers. However, Amy saved the day on the second visit, with prompt and attentive service, and a smile or two.
Very nice place, rooms clean and spacious, very good and value for money food. Sorry to say, after having dinner there for three days, on the last day the reception gave us a 20% voucher redeemable on food at the restaurant for the whole stay there. A bit too late.
Hotel rooms are lovely, and certainly make up for the commercial look of the hotel exterior. Food nicely prepared BUT it was the staff that made my 3 night stay the best. Professional and attentive. Thank yiu Klara, always busy but pleasant and jovial throughout.
Had another lovely stay here, the rooms are lovely. The hotel and pub have had a recent renovation, contemporary yet classic design throughout. The pub and restaurant are really good. Great value, the chefs specials are always wonderful. The front of house team, Lauren and Amy especially are brilliant, very helpful and knowledgeable. Olivia our waitress one evening was delightful. Probably the best pub in Harlow. It looks really nice and cozy, it's a very good looking place. The Xmas decorations were really nice. A good selection of beers and drinks at reasonable prices. Recommended
Christmas day meal with the family was outstanding. Food was well presented and hot and portion size was more than enough. Staff were very attentive and the decor was of high quality after a recent refurbishment. Plenty of parking and considering it was Christmas day I thought the pricing for 3 courses was spot on. We will return in the future and will hope to have the same positive outcome. Merry Christmas to all staff and thank you. Patrick.
