nice gym, although the last time i have visited the leg press was broken for around 1-2 months, it has now been fixed. good prices and badminton court, also a good selection of gym equipment.
Daughter goes here for swimming lessons and it is perfect. The main bonus is that class sizes are small when compared to main leisure centre nearby, who clearly just want money and don't really care about lessons provided. Staff are very friendly and really help the children learn.
Nice little leisure centre consisting of a multi-sports hall swimming pool and a gym. Good size pool and hall. The gym has only recently been upgraded with both a new building and equipment. The gym requires an induction before your able to use it. The only thing that lets it down are the opening times please check before going.
Had fun swimming, I went of friday and it was only 1 pound per person
I frequently use the gym at ibstock leisure complex. There is a good range of equipment, MATRIX machines which are good quality. The gym is mostly quiet and often empty, which is good due to its small size. There are no free weights but that's not an issue. Membership prices are incredibly cheap, as well as day entry. One of my main reasons for this not being 5* is the opening times. They are different everywhere you look. Not only this, but in the week the gym is closed from 1pm until 3.30pm which is very annoying. However, other than this minor issue, the gym is very good and is an excellent starting point for learning how to use different machines etc.
The facilites are excellent, the staff go above and beyond and the swimming locals are like a family as everyone is so friendly. Can't rate it highly enough for feeling so welcome. The Team are so knowledgeable too and help you reach your potential whatever your ability every step of the way... and you'll have a right giggle along the way
First time here for granddaughters swimming gala. Very clean tidy welcoming place. Thou it was a bit warm waiting in corridor before the racing started.
