I would not re-join the gym/classes. It would seem that bookings are not honoured, excluded from Classes despite booking and instructor enables this to happen. Awful.
Great time at Splash and play holiday session this holiday. Reasonably priced, clean changing rooms and plenty of locker space. Pool was warm enough (I was braced for cold!) and the kids loved the floats, noodles, balls and inflatables plus we took our own mermaids and diving sticks. Would definitely go again, and sessions are even cheaper with a regular leisure card. Thank you!
I was there for bloods to be taken. They are brilliant. They are in the Memorial Hall. Diabetic eye tests are tested inside the actual Leisure Centre. They are also fantastic.
One of the reasons I like Atherstone is because I enjoy going to the pool. I find the changing spaces always pretty clean and the pool tiles always look clean. I’m a regular swimmer and believe some improvement / investment could be made to the facilities (the showers sometimes run too cold and some of the lockers do not work). Overall a good place to enjoy leisure time, staff are fine. My view is that this leisure centre is an asset to Atherstone.

Friendly staff and decent facilities at a fair price. Been a few years since I was a member and have recently re joined, lot's of new kit in the gym but still excellent value. People are asked to clean the gym equipment after use which is a good thing with the environment we live in.
Good size and clean pool, though water can feel a bit choppy on Wednesdays (maybe they top up water on Thursday morning?). Staff are okay, they do their job well. Reception staff helpful. The poolside changing rooms could do with an upgrade but otherwise clean.
Lovely swimming baths. We go regularly. The best one around Tamworth. Nice and quite. Toddler fun is great with the floats. Just make sure you get the free parking ticket!
