   Absolutely disgusting attitude from the receptionist at the vets today. I ordered tablets for my dog to help with our flee/mite problem and she said the tablets that came in today were for "a lady she knows". £71 for the vet to say my dogs slightly overweight and zero actual help. just an injection and a fat shrug. absolutely appalling and waste of money especially as I'm struggling and don't have money to waste. jeez.

   Wheelchair friendly. Can bring along your well-behaved pets. Grooming parlour, Vets for pets located at the rear of the store. Pets at home is a fairly pricey store, they do have everything you need when it comes to pet care, plus, they offer a loyalty scheme for some extra savings. With rabbits, guinea pigs and fish available for same day purchasing. Medical supplies, leads/collars, food, snacks, treats, bedding, pumps, electrical tags, clothes, mobility aids etc. No toilets. Free ample parking outside. Staff are fairly young but very knowledgeable. They seem understaffed on occasions.

   Hello, I would like to file a complaint regarding one of your employees who served me today. I had planned to purchase some fish from your store, but due to the rude, arrogant, and unfriendly attitude of the staff member, I decided to leave. Here’s what happened: I entered the store and politely asked for some fish. Instead of helping me, the employee started scolding me for having a catfish in my aquarium. I calmly explained that I was planning to give the catfish to a friend and that it wouldn’t be kept with the new fish. His response was shocking — he told me not to bother giving it away and that I should just throw it in the trash or flush it down the toilet. I don’t believe a staff member should treat customers — or animals — this way. Because of this experience, I went to a different aquarium store where I was treated with respect and received proper service. I’m writing this to warn other customers about this impolite and disrespectful young man, and I sincerely hope that management reads these reviews and takes appropriate action.    New puppy (lab) owner and was advised by the breeder and the neighbours to go here. Really really pleased with the service and the attention they gave to both myself, my partner and puppy. One could say it’s all sell on, but was definitely not the case. Walked out with loads of things and mostly a world of knowledge. Thank you The staff members that helped us from the guy in the floor until the lady on the checkout were super professional.

   Very busy so store cleanliness wasn't the greatest . . . Not nice walking in and smelling the waste of the small animals. Advise to get there early as parking becomes difficult.

   Didn't have the Kong toy on a rope although the website said the sold them. But I did buy a doughnut bed for my cocker spaniel which he loves the bottom comes out and there's a zip to remove the inner pillow for washing. A good design and not too expensive at £30

   Just bought the Wainwright's donut bed from Pets at Home in Trowbridge today. The staff were really helpful as my male 18 year old cat died a few days ago in his sleep and I was a bit tearful. His twin sister is still with us so I decided to make her feel extra special and bought the donut bed. Well, she wasn't sure but with soothing words and the catnip toy I put in the bed first, she settled so well and is sleeping toasty warm. Thank you Pets at Home.
