We stayed on their campsite so we ate in their pub, the food is top class, I've had 2 meals already and can't wait for another! Portions are very generous and the quality is beautiful, flavours are fab too. Presentation is very good, I highly recommend this pub for food! I've eaten in a lot of pubs over the years but this one is just a cut above for the same price.

It's our 'go to' place after visiting WWT Slimbridge which is just down the road. We've never stayed here but have eaten here often and the food has ALWAYS been delicious with generous portions. Highly recommend

We visited the pub whilst staying on the campsite next door. The staff were very nice and looked after us really well. The steak and ale pie was totally delicious and not to be missed. We would have liked to of spent more time in the pub drinking and maybe making use of some of the board games but honestly, there isn’t really anywhere comfy or cosy to sit. It feels more like a restaurant than a pub.

Stayed in the campsite behind the pub which is equally amazing. Food and service amazing, plenty of tables, tons of advice regarding dining. Meals arrived super quick. All the staff were friendly. Only grump I have is the staff don't clear tables down outside, on the way back from delivering to other tables.

Really tasty meals. I had fish and chips, the batter was nice and crispy and they have the best tartar sauce I have ever had. The Yorkshire pudding was over done on the roast, but one it was mentioned to the very friendly staff it was remade.good size portions even in the small meals at a good price Lovely atmosphere. A good way to end a nice day out

Bedrooms very comfortable, warm and well equipped. Food good quality and value. Staff friendly and relaxed. A very good choice to use as a base to explore this area. Minutes away from Wetlands, yards away from miles of canal towpath walks. Excellent....

Booked in for evening dinner on the first night stay at the campsite next door. This place is dog friendly which is great as you can walk along the canal and have a few drinks as well. Food was good value for money and served hot to the table. Only down side is there is no wheelchair ramp. In order to get to my table I had to.go through three doors, each time having to get out my chair and wait for.someone to bring it through after me, the go up/down steps!. Luckily I can stand and walk short distances with sticks but if someone who has no mobilty were to visit it would be a real problem. There are also steps inside but no ramp offered. Therefore I have not given a high rating, just medium as someone here needs to get the place up to standard for the equalities act. The staff were apologetic and said no idea why they don't have ramps! Happy to revisit and help the owner understand the issues and discuss how to make life easier for disabled guests, as we only live 30 minutes away.

Food was delicious, and they had a good variety of gluten free choices! Stayed in the b+b too which was lovely. A comfortable room with everything you need. Would recommend. All the staff were friendly and hardworking.
