My partner βMichelleβ and I stayed for two nights weekend at the Oakhill Inn and WOW what a beautiful place. Wayne Gillian and the team are a fantastic team, nothing was too much trouble, we were greeted by Wayne upon arrival, shown to our room which was perfect in every way. A huge spacious room, piping hot water in the shower facility, lovely warm room considering the temperature had dropped. Everything you could possibly need within the room and it was not a trouble if we needed anything during our stay. We had breakfast both mornings which was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared by the polite and courteous team. We also had two evening meals at the Oakhill Inn during our stay and again the food menu is out of this world and truly superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the warm cosy atmosphere on both evenings with log burners roaring, and a real community spirit within. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay over and sample some fine food look no further than booking in with Wayne and his team, we will most definitely be back βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ

We had an incredible roast here! The quality of the roast and the service was fantastic. Minor gripe is the use of an AI generated image in the men's toilets (of a cockerel) but otherwise a perfect time was had.

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch here. It was really lovely and a place to eat I would whole heartedly recommend. The staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere warm, welcoming and relaxed. Itβs the sort of place that you can see they all work very hard to make it look easy. Definitely worth a visit and we'll be going again - our dog even got a biscuit for being well behaved!

Enjoyed lunch at the Oakhill Inn and was very pleased to find this hidden gem. Staff were very friendly and helpful and did everything possible to accommodate my wifes allergies. This meant we both had a very enjoyable meal. The food was all good and I can recommend this pub which is larger than it looks from outside. There is a car park but you need to look out for the signs, as it is not immediately next to the pub.

Booked a meal at this pub as it was halfway between where I live and where a friend was staying (and had stated it was dog friendly). Wasn't sure what to expect as had never been here before, the menu looked like a decent range of pub food so was not expecting too much. Actually the food was really great, starters, mains & desert were all really tasty. The pub itself was lovely and the staff very friendly. And they made a fuss of my friends dog. We had a lovely evening and look forward to going back.

Room was very comfortable, but fairly basic with en-suite bathroom. Includes tea/coffee facilities. Really good full English breakfast. Free car park a short distance from the inn.

Fabulous atmosphere and service for our staff christmas party. Good was outstanding, service prompt, efficient and friendly even though we were a big group and the pub was very busy. Definitely will visit again.

Lovely staff and place. Nothing much wrong with the room, only I needed a higher chair to be able to use it. I'm sure if I asked one would have been found. I managed on the bed. Only one night.

Beautiful historic building. Great rooms and furniture, good bed. Large and lovely bathroom. Very quiet at night despite being next to a road. Only thing we heard was an owl. Very helpful and kind staff who all go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Great breakfasts!
