Great place to walk and is a riot of colour in the spring, with good footpaths leading down to the lake. There's a mobile coffee stand where you can get a cuppa and bacon butty, and toilets nearby. Dogs are allowed but must be on a lead (often ignored by some irresponsible people!).

A nice tidy “Park“. You can spend a lot of time walking through it. Short cutting by secret paths and apearing in other beautiful parts. You can't realy get lost as long as you can read signs. Every time of the year has different colors. I / we liked it. It will not be the last time.

We were in the area, so decided it would be a place to explore, and I'm glad we did. It's certainly a place we would return to and explore some more. We did a five mile walk around the lake stopping to have a bit to eat near the shore.

The whole of the Valley Gardens is Beautiful at this time of year, with all the Azaleas and Rhododendrons out. Lovely place for a walk, there are also a variety of paths, so we were able to walk around it with a pushchair. We come back here often each year would highly recommend it for a walk.

Still free and a great experience. Reminds me of childhood trips here. Well maintained paths are suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Toilets and clear signs help to make it a good day for a family picnic. Dogs are welcome too.
