   Wonderful place. Very peaceful and quiet. Good place for a long walk. The forest has a sense of calm to it. Has some paths with an incline or a decline, but otherwise the level is flat. Best to visit when it's dry, as it may get muddy after periods of rain.

   I love it, it's right next to Ruislip Lido where you can go for a walk. You can also take a ride on the narrow-gauge railway, if you don't want to walk too much. Also if you don't want to walk through the mud in the forest, there is a nice path. Perfect for any type of weather.

   We had a lovely late afternoon walk in the Ruislip woods with our dog. It was so tranquil and peaceful as we walked the many "public paths." it is difficult to belive that such a natural place exists in the middle of suburbia. Highly recommended if you want to get back to nature.

   I been asked to leave, not allowed to camp for few hours and not to have a small fire for food, why then they saying coming and hiking area for... I been asked to leave it ruin my afternoons
