Nice decor. All the staff seemed very bored/ jaded/ going through the motions. All the right things were said but not with any genuine care. Food was OK, very bland jerk chicken burger, seemedt to have a lot of black pepper and nothing else. Main bar had very good service, and the guy serving was helpful and friendly.

So happy that someone recommended this place as it was fully worth it. Located on a busy road with enough parking spaces. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was beautifully made and every bite was worth it. Left feeling very satisfied and highly recommend, will definitely be returning.

Nice pub with great service and delicious food. A super little steak with excellent fries and a delicious peppercorn sauce. Well worth a visit.

I started with the moules marinière, which were decent enough, followed by the sirloin steak. Service was pleasant and professional. Steak was a little rarer than I meant by medium but still cooked wonderfully, juicy and delicious. I did grate a little at paying £3.75 for two mushrooms though. The fries were as good as fries can be: crispy on the outside and fluffy (and not dry at all) on the inside. The peppercorn sauce was good too. For dessert I had Guinness, which was spot-on too. Atmosphere was wonderful, and prices were good for the food we received. Overall it was very good, excellent when compared with the competition.

Visited on a Sunday and could easily see why it was busy. The service was so kind, genuine and friendly without being over the top or intrusive. Not the cheapest for a pint, but the atmosphere, service and food made up for it - and you get what you pay for, this is no chain. It's a well furnished, comfortable and pleasant area to sit and enjoy good times and even better food! I had the flatbread (shredded beef one) but wish I'd have gone for one of the Sunday dinners as they looked amazing. The chunky chips were really good too. For saying how fresh the food was, the wait was minimal. Waiting times were good and although our table was required for the next booking we didn't fee rushed to leave, we were politely asked and even got apologised to, too. The sticky toffee pudding was lush, too, Won't hesitate to return again in the future!

Tricky review this one. Love the style and decor of this pub and the staff are helpful and friendly. Our first visit was a couple of weeks ago for a drink and we were so impressed we've now returned to eat. The food presentation was excellent but sadly my dish was tasteless and bland, whilst my partners meal was OK but her accompanying potatoes wedges were again tasteless. Menu prices are too much for such lack of flavour.

Have eaten here twice now (visited as a restaurant rather than a pub), and really enjoyed my visit both times. Good food, really fun selection of small plates and sides, and in particular the service is fantastic! Incredibly polite and friendly staff team for who nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely be back!

Good location, lots of parking available at lunchtime. Nice welcome by staff, drinks served quickly. The restaurant was all booked, so I made use of the all day menu, bar facilities for food. Fair choice, if not a little pricey for some of the choices. Food arrived quickly, staff helpful and polite. The burgers were large, filling, and had enough fries and coleslaw. All in all a good experience, especially for the catch up with old friends that was had.

Went here because it's the nearest pub to us that's not a big chain. The pub and interior are very nice. Staff are pleasant but the food can be a bit of a let down sometimes. Soup starter served cold. Sent it back but arrived not much warmer. Roast dinner, the vegetables were practically raw. Don't mind al dente but they were hardly cooked. Cauliflower cheese was hard. Pity because we like the pub.
