Perfectly good, too noisy when we visited but that's due to popularity I expect. Go off-peak if you want quiet & romantic, which I'm sure it could be. Food & speed of service is perfectly acceptable, especially as it was full & 'office outing' season (thankfully we pre-booked table, not sure whether always needed but play safe if you can!).

The atmosphere here is nice. It gets three stars for that, the wine list and the service which was decent. Only vegetarian option they had for a Christmas meal was a celeriac wellington. It was disgusting, pastry was undercooked and the insides tasted and smelt foul. I don't know who's idea it was to put that on the menu but they need a good talking to. I wouldn't have minded too much if it wasn't literally the only non-meat option and was pretty expensive. The starter was lackluster, mushroom stems and pesto that really didn't taste of much at all. Won't go back.

FOOD IS OKAY. SERVICE COULD BE BETTER. OVERPRICED & OVER RATED We went to celebrate my daughterβs birthday. My dishes were okay, I would recommend the duck salad starter & duck al orange main. The lamb dish is stingy, more onions & gravy rather than lamb and carrots were just boiled. The service was okay we appreciated the honesty however there was no come back to our table to ask about our dishes and no goodbye when we were leaving. After spending over Β£200, thatβs something you donβt forget. Overall food is not bad, but overpriced and the service is lacking. I will not be going back and will recommend Miller & Carter over Bistrot Pierre.

Very cozy and comfortable place! Service is good. Cappuccino is so beautifully made. And dessert is awesome. If there is one tiny flaw, that might be the bit-chewy chicken. This is a very good place to come, especially for 2, at Sundays for their wonderful set menu of Sunday Roast.

Had a flying visit to Notts yesterday. Was incredibly fortunate to find this WONDERFUL Restaurant. Not only was the place attractive in style, full of wonderful vibes and happy customers, it also provided the most wonderful food. Paulina attended our table, and could not have been more charming, helpful, informative. She made our visit so enjoyable, as did GIA who provided the refreshments. We had such a great time we took the opportunity to enjoy some champagne too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!

One of the must-visit restaurants in Nottingham! Exceptionally tasty menu, great atmosphere, very friendly and kind staff. Many options to satisfy everyone, fair prices and awesome menu deals with 2,3 or 6 courses! Their signature beef is a must but everything tasted wonderful. Highly recommended!

A wonderful break from the pub fare. After amicably sorting out a problem with our reservation, we had a wonderful meal. The menu is classic French bistro and ample. Highlights were the chicken liver parfait and the sticky toffee pudding. Reasonably wine list. Service was top notch, attentive, professional and well timed.

Craving for some good food, I been very surprised to find this central bistro. The place was crowded and I recommend you to book a table before you are at their door. The staff was very friendly and careful arranging the table after each meal, asking you for more drinks, I was very impressed of them. The food was good, the flavours were spot on, the only negative remark is that the beef was overcooked, even for a slow cooked dish, was kind of mushy weird texture here and there. The sorbet was fantastic and I do recommend you to go for it.

I haven't been for a time as the last time I went, it just wasn't as it used to be. This trip, however, was wonderful. I went with my favourite (pork medallions) and a few sides, and the quality, flavour and quantity of the food was phenomenal. The price for what you get is more than reasonable for the experience and flavours. The service was delightful and it made the time spent there excellent. I'll be heading back soon to try some other delectable dishes. My only minor gripe is that the roasted garlic bulb has been taken off the menu, which was a favourite of mine, but, that just gives more reason to try new things.
