The staff are nice and friendly and the group of residents from a care centre said they really enjoyed the meal, it was just a shame that 2 of the group of 8 had to wait until I explained at the bar that they were waiting nearly 10 mins for theirs to come out, that was disappointing. In addition to that the staff had their meals and when a gammon steak was brought out is was only luke warm. The staff apologised and refunded that meal.

Dropped in last minute as needed to have an urgent teams meeting. I think it's important for Greene King to recognise what a quality Barmaid they have in Emma, she couldn't do enough to accommodate me. Really impressed. Had a couple of drinks and ended up having a bite to eat, absolutely no complaints with the food. Was an unplanned stop but defo encouraged a return. Nice one Emma, you made the visit!

Oh dear. As last post said… avoid at all cost. 4 of us spent over£120, between us, drinks included. However, sent 1 meal back, which was deducted, and we should have sent them all back, but us being us didn't want to cause a fuss. All 4 meals were totally overcooked. Sent 1 back and the waitress said she couldn't guarantee it wouldn't come out the same so had to choose something different, which was still overcooked. The place was empty. Not surprised after that crap. We totally didn't blame the waitress/bar staff. Won't be returning. This place is so up and down. Green king - you should be ashamed! Had better at wetherspoons and don't rate them either so that's saying something!

I've had a chance of dining at the Nottingham Knight during my stay at the premiere inn. I dined there a couple of time 3 I believe if I recall correctly. My server on all occasions was Marcy. The service was professional and really fast. She was more than happy to answer any questions regarding the menu and was full of warmth and friendly energy throughout my service. The food was of a decent quality and not too expensive from the perspective of a foreigner who's spending their summer holidays in England. The waiting time is not too long and the portion sizes are definitely satisfactory. Overall I would say that Nottingham Knight is a good value for money and I definitely enjoyed my time there. During my future stays in Nottingham I will most likely revisit this place not only because of its immediate proximity to the hotel I'm staying at but also because of the high quality of me meals and the professionalism of service. The only criticism I can mention is the ocassionsal generosity in terms of seasoning. Especially prominent when it comes to Halloumi Fries which although delicious were definitely on the saltier side. Which is not necessarily a bad thing and an issue of personal preference.

We ordered two steak sandwiches at £11.99 each as you can see from the photograph there is hardly any steak in the sandwich and therefore it consisted and tasted mostly of bread When we complained to the manager he said the steak sandwich had 4 oz's of steak inside and he was unable to add more without further charge, he also said he believed that the bread was to large for the steak inside, suggesting that maybe other people had also complained. £12 for 4 oz's of meat and a bit of bread is clearly ripping people off I would suggest they include the amount of the meat on the menu, so people can make a informed decision as to weather they wish to pay £12 for such a small amount of food, But I'm sure they won't take this suggestion on board as they know it would effect there sales. I look forward to receiving your reply on weather you will follow my recommendation’s and commit to altering your menu to include the meat weight

I paid £10.69 for "luxury mac & cheese" the only thing luxury about it was the price!! The chips you see on the plate were an extra £3 also (all 15 of them) Mac and Cheese was basic to say the least made with stringy awful macro cheese. They were faster than McDonald's bringing the food out waiter just plugged it down and when I asked him is that what you get for £10.69 he just laughed and said yes and walked away. Even went up afterwards and asked if this was the right amount as they have Mac and Cheese as a side and was told yes that's it. Will never go back as it's a joke I got 5 spoonfuls of slightly undercooked pasta with a small portion of cheese on top. Disgraceful what English pubs have come too, no wonder they are closing.

A wonderful restaurant with fantastic helpful and friendly staff. The approach to special dietary requirements and food allergies is the best I've ever experienced. The menu is varied with lots of options for all. My family are pretty challenging at the best of times but we had a fantastic experience. The roast beef was perfect too! We'll be returning often....

We visited the Nottingham Knight for dinner, staff were very friendly and pleasant. Food was OK, managed to hit the spot after a long day out with the kids. I ordered some beef dripping gravy to go with my steak, and it really just tasted like normal gravy that you would have with your roast... but apart from that all good. We finished with a sharing chocolate sundae, but unfortunately it defeated us, despite best efforts from our two small people...!
